Ning Xuan received the message from Chairman Wang just after accepting an award. When she heard Di Youlin was in danger, she immediately agreed to go rescue him.

After all, they had spent so much time together. Ning Xuan had feelings for Di Youlin; she couldn’t possibly watch him die.

Chairman Wang rushed over in a panic, grabbed her, and pulled her toward the monitoring room. Ning Xuan saw Di Youlin’s parents, their faces etched with anxiety. Without saying much, she walked into the entrance of the underground Training Institute by herself.

"She’s in," Di Jingtian remarked with a sigh. He watched the monitor as Ning Xuan braved temperatures of several hundred degrees to enter the underground Training Institute. She went straight to the sixth level, then passed through the hole that had just been melted by the flames. A powerful sense of gratitude washed over him.

The destruction program was fully charged and ready to be activated at any moment. Di Youlin’s condition was unknown and extremely dangerous. If Ning Xuan couldn’t calm him, she would find herself in a hopeless situation.

"Yu Yu, she’s risking her life to save our son. This kind of loyalty, this sense of responsibility... who else could do this? If Youling can get through this, then just let him be," Di Jingtian sighed.

"If she’s so loyal and righteous, why can’t she... can’t she give Youling some dignity, some respect? In the entire history of our family, has anyone ever been another’s slave? If word of this gets out, how can we show our faces?" Wen Yuebai was deeply moved watching Ning Xuan enter the underground without a moment’s hesitation.

Wen Yuebai’s almond-shaped eyes widened instantly. She turned to look at Di Jingtian with an expression of utter disbelief. Di Jingtian gave a slight nod, and Wen Yuebai covered her mouth in shock.

Ning Xuan paid no attention to the others. She could sense Di Youlin’s rampaging Divine Soul. His Divine Soul felt as if it had been torn into countless fragments, scattered everywhere—simultaneously connected and repelling one another.

The seventh level underground was now a sea of fire, with fierce gales that howled intermittently. However, Ning Xuan moved through the inferno unimpeded; the flames automatically extinguished themselves as they approached her.

Ning Xuan walked through the sea of fire, and soon, she located the ball of flame that was darting about wildly in the air.

As the ball of flame flew toward her, Ning Xuan stretched out a hand. Black-red Vines swarmed out, binding the erratically moving flame into a tight bundle.

When Ning Xuan drew closer, the flames died down, revealing a Fire Phoenix covered in red feathers.

This Fire Phoenix was over two meters long, its spread wings blazing like sunset clouds. Each red feather seemed to be made of flowing fire, and its long tail feathers trailed behind it, every plume dazzling and brilliant.

Within its emotionless pupils, which seemed forged from molten gold, swirled the light of distant stars.

"Master, you’re here." Di Youlin, realizing the vines weren’t restricting his freedom, immediately climbed out from them.

Ning Xuan saw that Di Youlin was completely naked. She took a set of clothes from her Space Button and tossed them to him.

"You just got back and you’re already having an energy rampage. You did this on purpose, didn’t you?" Ning Xuan saw right through his ploy.

"Master, I wouldn’t say it was *entirely* on purpose. I was infected by a virus on the New Star Body. Yun Han and the others get to hug you, cuddle you, and sleep with you, but you always ignore me. Even though I had the Antidote Potion, the virus in my body wasn’t cleared out as thoroughly as it was for the others."

"The virus triggers mental rampages. I’d been trying hard to suppress it before, but now... I just don’t feel like suppressing it anymore," Di Youlin said, looking at Ning Xuan with an innocent expression.

"If I can’t be with you, this was bound to happen sooner or later. What’s the difference whether it’s now or later?" Di Youlin sighed.

"And you think your parents will agree to this?" Ning Xuan asked.

"They’ll agree." Di Youlin’s gaze flickered. ’His parents aren’t fools. After this whole ordeal, they’re sure to see Ning Xuan’s true power. They’re people who always put the family’s interests first. How could they possibly disagree?’

The outcome was just as Di Youlin had predicted. After seeing the crisis on the seventh level resolved and the self-destruct mechanism deactivated, Di Jingtian and Wen Yuebai immediately submitted the relevant documents, handing over Di Youlin’s Contract to Chairman Wang.

They also recorded a video message stating their wish to entrust Di Youlin to Ning Xuan, hoping she would treat him well.

They didn’t wait for Ning Xuan and Di Youlin to emerge. After completing the necessary procedures, they left directly.

"How did you know they would compromise?" Ning Xuan asked as she led Di Youlin out of the underground Training Institute. Barring any surprises, he would never have to come back here again.

"I suppose they still love me, after all," Di Youlin said with a grin, brazenly wrapping his arm around Ning Xuan’s waist.

"Are you sure? You didn’t set me up, did you?" Ning Xuan looked at him suspiciously.

Ning Xuan’s hand gave his chest a hard pinch, making him cry out with a sharp hiss of pain. "Master!" Seeing that she was teasing him on purpose, Di Youlin protested with dissatisfaction.
