Ning Xuan watched as Yu Mingche fell into a deep sleep. She carried him to the bed, covered him with a blanket, and let him be. He would likely sleep for three days and three nights. When he awoke, the hidden injuries in his body would be healed.

While applying the ointment earlier, Ning Xuan had checked Yu Mingche’s pulse and discovered that many of his meridians were blocked. She assumed he must have suffered some old injuries. In reality, the blockages were entirely a side effect of a womb pouch implantation. Even though the surgery had taken place six months ago, having a growing object implanted inside him meant his body couldn’t recover so quickly.

Although Ning Xuan understood how reproduction worked in this world, she had never witnessed it firsthand. Therefore, even though she noticed that most of Yu Mingche’s blocked meridians were concentrated in his abdomen, the true cause never crossed her mind.

After settling Yu Mingche in, Ning Xuan notified Yan Fuzhen, telling him to prepare a courtyard for Yu Mingche near her own and to assign a few capable people to him.

Ning Xuan went to the living room to meet Tang Xue. "Xuanyuan, you’re finally out! The graduation ceremony is the day after tomorrow. After the ceremony, there’s a graduation ball. Have you picked out a dress yet? I’m going to pick one out. Can you come with me? Please? Pretty please?"

"Whoa, this much money? Xuanyuan, how do you have so much? This feels like enough to last me a lifetime!" Tang Xue grabbed Ning Xuan’s arm excitedly as she stared at the countless Star Gold that had appeared in her account.

Ning Xuan quickly pulled her arm away. "Stop bouncing around. Can you please try to maintain some composure? Didn’t you want to go buy a dress? Let’s go, let’s go. I’ll come with you."

Yan Fuzhen had already prepared a dress for Ning Xuan. However, when Ning Xuan thought about Yan Fuzhen’s fashion sense, the style of the young Attendants in the villa, and then compared them to Feng Linran and Yu Mingche, she realized she no longer had much faith in Yan Fuzhen’s taste.

Shen Wenwen was trying on a purple mermaid-style dress. Its skirt was layered, resembling ripples in the water when she turned. Shen Wenwen wasn’t very tall, but this dress perfectly accentuated her slender waist and long legs, creating the illusion of height.

Looking at the dress, Ning Xuan suddenly thought, ’I’ve always been so busy with Cultivation, with Alchemy, with improving my strength... Have I ever once cared about what I wear?’

It seemed Yan Fuzhen prepared all her clothes: either black combat uniforms, loose loungewear, or training outfits. The outfit she was wearing now was casual, combat-style attire.
