Interstellar Farming: I Make Potions and Climb to the Top

The two energies clashed. The Fire Element Energy surged violently, attempting to expel and incinerate the blue energy. But the blue energy seemed frozen in place, neither retreating nor resisting, completely unresponsive.

This caused immense suffering for Ning Xuan. The energy was incredibly difficult to refine, and just as her meridians were on the verge of shattering, she had no choice but to channel the Fire Element Energy into the Ghost-faced Red Vine. Although the Ghost-faced Red Vine was fire-resistant, it was ultimately a Wood Element being and couldn’t withstand prolonged roasting. Therefore, Ning Xuan plunged the Red Vine into Yun Han and Lan Xin, transferring the Fire Element Energy into their bodies.

Struck by the sudden agony of being immolated from within, both men cried out in pain.

"Use the mantra I taught you. Refine it," Ning Xuan instructed, her eyes closed.

Yun Han and Lan Xin endured the excruciating pain and did as Ning Xuan said.

Among the four people who had established a Spiritual Link Channel with Ning Xuan, Yun Han and Lan Xin were somewhat stronger than the other two. Lan Xin, in particular, had experienced a massive surge in strength. This was due to a series of fortuitous events: he had accidentally consumed a Prajna Fruit, which unlocked his Genetic Lock Chain, and this was compounded by the effects of the spiral nebula.

The fact that Ning Xuan was later able to enter Zone 13 without being detected by Mo Yu was also related to Lan Xin’s improved Illusion Realm and Disguise Ability.

On the verge of collapse, Yun Tianye violently shook off Zhu Hongying’s hand and lunged forward.

Zhu Hongying rushed forward and threw her arms around Yun Tianye. "Calm down! I just saw Lin Mo. Let’s find him first and ask what’s going on."

"What is there to ask? As soon as Yun Han woke up, she threw him into the Training Institute! What kind of place is the Training Institute? Don’t you know?" Yun Tianye said irritably.

"I know. But if it weren’t for Ning Xuan, he would already be dead. If it weren’t for Ning Xuan, Yun Han wouldn’t even be in this world anymore." Zhu Hongying held Yun Tianye tightly, using her body to restrain him.

Afraid of hurting Zhu Hongying, Yun Tianye gradually stopped struggling.

The Flying Car stopped in the parking lot of the Qingluan Mountain villa. The driver scrambled and tumbled out, and Yan Fuzhen, who was waiting outside, immediately had his men take the driver to a medical bay for treatment.

Inside the Flying Car, Yun Han’s face was beet red as he sat cross-legged on the floor not far from Ning Xuan. Behind him, the massive, fully-materialized White Tiger threw its head back and let out a long roar. The sonic vibrations caused spiderweb cracks to appear on the vehicle’s reinforced iron roof.

The next moment, ferocious flames erupted over the White Tiger’s body. The roaring fire seemed to muffle all sound. Fine beads of sweat broke out on Yun Han’s forehead and behind his ears, only to be instantly baked dry by the flames.

A single, teardrop-shaped blue scale appeared between Lan Xin’s eyebrows. As the Vermilion Bird Fire spread through his body, that teardrop scale lost its azure hue and gradually took on an eerie, inky black. A fine pattern of snake scales spread from his collarbones down to his waist, tearing through his clothes and glowing with a faint blue light.

When Lan Xin opened his eyes, his beautiful, deep-set eyes had transformed into blue, vertical-slitted pupils. His long, straight legs had morphed into a blue snake tail that swayed unconsciously within the cabin. As the tail swept past a nearby seat, it sliced the seemingly sturdy chair clean in two.

Both Yun Han and Lan Xin were using all their strength to resist and refine the fire Ning Xuan had injected into them. Yun Han still seemed somewhat lucid, but Lan Xin’s eyes were glazed over, his consciousness already fading.

A pillar of crimson-gold light enveloped Ning Xuan. With a piercing SHRIEK, a massive, fiery-red bird erupted from her body.

The great bird was cloaked in crimson-gold flames. Its body appeared to be composed entirely of fire, with flowing flames like liquid gold magma. Each droplet carried the debris of shattered stars and was inscribed with runic laws.

The moment the great bird touched the Flying Car, the vehicle instantly vaporized and vanished.

As the Vermilion Bird descended upon the world, the crimson-gold pillar of light pierced the heavens, and the eternal starry sky was reflected in Ning Xuan’s pupils. Her blood and bones hummed as an ancient mark, long dormant in her bloodline, awakened. On her forehead, between her brows, a cluster of crimson-gold flame appeared. The flame leaped and flowed, and all the fire spreading across and within Yun Han’s and Lan Xin’s bodies surged into it.

Suddenly, all sound fell into silence.

The moment the crimson-gold pillar of light disappeared, the fiery-red bird flew into the flame on Ning Xuan’s brow. The leaping cluster of fire constantly changed its form before finally settling back into the shape of a flame, stationary between her eyebrows.

This ordeal with her Companion Spirit left Ning Xuan utterly exhausted, both mentally and physically, as if her body had been completely hollowed out. Though spots were dancing before her eyes, she persevered, opening her Space Ring to retrieve a batch of Elixir Pills. These were the ones she had previously refined with Vermilion Bird Divine Fire, using Red Ginseng, Ice Soul Snow Lotus, and Golden Flame Immortal Grass as primary ingredients, over a dozen other herbs as supplements, and her own blood as the catalyst.

She poured out the glittering golden Elixir Pills and fed one to Lan Xin and one to Yun Han. After the flames vanished, Yun Han’s Companion Spirit reverted from a massive White Tiger back to the form of a small kitten.

Little White spotted Ning Xuan at once and, overjoyed, rushed into her arms. It expertly burrowed into her clothes and refused to come out.

Lan Xin lay on the ground, his upper body human and lower body a snake’s tail, his eyes closed and unmoving. After Ning Xuan fed him the Elixir Pill, the scale between his eyebrows gradually returned to its original blue color.

Ning Xuan looked around. The area was completely empty; Yan Fuzhen had cleared it long ago. However, she knew that he was nearby, keeping an eye on the situation.

She raised her arm and waved, and saw Yan Fuzhen running toward her with his men.
