It felt as if the moment a rescue team appeared, they were supposed to be like divine soldiers descending from the heavens to save the survivors from their dire plight.

Ding Yang’s bearing when he first appeared had fit this fantasy perfectly.

But after Lin Qi accepted the document, Ding Yang seemed to change into a completely different person in an instant.

It was as if Ding Yang’s entire purpose for coming here was to covet the Mo University Camp’s weapons and equipment.

As for the Dragon Country Command Headquarters?

They couldn’t be counted on for now. Although the railways had been cleared and old-fashioned locomotives were running around the clock, manpower and resources were scarce everywhere. They couldn’t expect help from the Headquarters for the time being.

After a moment of thought, Lin Qi decided against tearing up the document.

The document held great symbolic meaning for the camp.

Choosing his words carefully, Lin Qi spoke. "Resources are tight within the Mo University Camp as well. We can only provide a small amount of material aid for now. However, I can make the decision to provide the Hongshan Camp with the design schematics for M-Class Exoskeletons, M-Class Electromagnetic Weapons, and the accompanying algorithms and production processes."

Behind him, Wang Ziru shifted, about to try and dissuade Lin Qi, but he quickly retracted the thought.

’I’m just Lin Qi’s representative. All I need to do is follow the boss’s arrangements.’

Ding Yang froze for a second, then asked, "M-Class?"

This classification system came from the Cyber World, so of course, Ding Yang had never heard of it.

Lin Qi nodded. "I’ve categorized Extraordinary Items and technological products based on the strength of the Zombies and the Crystal Stones that have appeared so far."

"Extraordinary Items are currently divided into Tier One and Tier Two. Technological items correspond to M-Class and L-Class. The weapon class corresponds to the Level of Zombie it can effectively damage."

Ding Yang was stunned as he listened.

Tier One and Tier Two were easy enough to understand. The Headquarters had also divided things into three tiers based on the combat strength of zombies and monsters and the crystals they dropped.

But M-Class and L-Class tech weapons were a completely new concept. The Headquarters hadn’t developed such a specific, tiered weapon classification system tailored for the apocalypse.

"What class are the weapons I saw outside?" Ding Yang asked.

"They are all M-Class. Right now, in all of Mo University, only the equipment I’m wearing is L-Class."

Lin Qi explained.

It wasn’t that Lin Qi couldn’t design L-Class weapons. Rather, Mo University’s current material production and weapon manufacturing processes limited the creation of High Level tech weapons.

Mo University still needed a comprehensive upgrade to its industrial base before it could produce L-Class weapons.

"I see."

It suddenly dawned on Ding Yang, and at the same time, the way he looked at Lin Qi changed dramatically.
