Lin Qi immediately joined the temporary channel.

Master Ma, Capitalist, and King Arthur entered the channel one by one.

King Arthur was the first to ask, "Why set up another temporary channel? Are there more Credit Points to be made today?"

Master Ma followed right after. "If there’s a Mercenary mission today, I can guarantee I’ll be there. I’ve already shaken off that old woman from the Assassin Alliance."

King Arthur instantly replied to Master Ma, "Master, how did you do it? How does a Tier Four Martial Artist shake off a Tier Four Blood Robe? You didn’t seduce her, did you?"

Master Ma: "[Cyber Ghost emoji]"

King Arthur had once again been subjected to Master Ma’s emoji-based silent treatment.

Lin Qi and Capitalist remained silent, waiting quietly for Guang Ling to explain.

Guang Ling didn’t keep them waiting long. "As always, thank you to Capitalist for providing server support for this temporary channel. Now, I’ll explain why I’ve set it up."

"Yesterday, we completed two assassinations targeting Tier Three Knights from the Round Table, earning a bounty of one hundred million Credit Points."

"After our assassinations yesterday, the Round Table has planned an evacuation from Greenfield City. It’s scheduled for two hours from now, via the Iron Curtain orbital train."

"Tonight, we have one last chance to wipe out the remaining four Tier Three Knights and complete the bounty mission for good."

After splitting it five ways, that would be a full thirty-two million Credit Points per person.

Add that to the sixteen million from yesterday’s mission, and it totals forty-eight million Credit Points each.

If one had the right channels to spend that many Credit Points, it would be almost enough to afford over 40% of an S-Class Prosthetic Body implant.

Most of the time, S-Class is considered a taboo level of combat power, restricted by numerous factions.

A fortune like this was enough to tempt even a Tier Four Martial Artist like Master Ma.

King Arthur was the first to respond. "Let’s do it! I agree to the operation."

Master Ma followed right after. "I still can’t get involved directly, but I can act as your final safety net. Even if the mission fails, I’m confident I can get you all out safely."

Capitalist: "I only provided server support. If the operation is a success, I can take a smaller share of the Credit Points."

As the leader, Guang Ling didn’t need to state their position.

That just left Lin Qi, who hadn’t responded yet.

Whether it was to counter the Witch Hunt or to protect Liu’s Heavy Industries, Lin Qi had no reason to refuse.

Lin Qi sent a single word: "In!"

Taking out this group of Tier Three Knights would significantly reduce the pressure Lin Qi was facing from the Witch Hunt.

Furthermore, the bounty from the mission would become a crucial source of startup capital for Lin Qi’s future.

But as for the other characteristics of these two Extraordinary Professions, Lin Qi was largely in the dark.

But after glancing at the other four members in the temporary channel, King Arthur found he couldn’t refute it.
