With his new Tier Three Extraordinary Items, Lin Qi returned to the Mo University Camp.

Sitting in the sixth-floor conference room, Lin Qi finally had time to inspect the things Ding Yang had brought this time.

He didn’t need to dwell on the two Tier Two Extraordinary Items. A quick glance at their files revealed that the corresponding monsters’ powers seemed incompatible with his current set of Abilities.

They weren’t even as good as Splitting. At least the Splitting Ability could form a Combined Skill with Decomposition Mimicry.

Plus, with Spiritual Vision in the mix, the Splitting Ability might hold even more surprises for Lin Qi.

Lin Qi’s focus shifted to the Special Merit document.

This was also a Tier Two Extraordinary Item. Lin Qi had no intention of analyzing it. Instead, he activated his Spiritual Vision and observed the document, inch by inch.

As if trying to dissect it completely.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t see a thing.

He couldn’t tell at all that this Extraordinary Item was at work.

It was as if the changes in Spiritual Particle activity and the buff he’d received had nothing to do with it.

The safe offered no protection whatsoever against an Extraordinary, but it was better than nothing.

Leaving the conference room, he saw there was still a little over an hour left until the cooldown for the Door ended.

Lin Qi went to find Wang Ziru.

"Boss, what are your orders?"

Wang Ziru’s attitude was the same as ever; his growing importance in the camp hadn’t made him the least bit arrogant.

His understanding of the situation was crystal clear—clearer than anyone else’s in the camp.

The Mo University Camp was special for one reason and one reason only: Lin Qi.

Never mind that Lin Qi had no desire to get involved in management—even if Lin Qi had a sudden whim to restore a monarchy and crown himself emperor, Wang Ziru would be the first to hand him the imperial robe.

Lin Qi led Wang Ziru into the conference room.

Lin Qi began, "What’s your assessment of the current doomsday situation? At Mo University’s current rate of development, do you think we can continue to just focus on self-preservation?"

Wang Ziru was taken aback for a moment, then he understood. Lin Qi was consulting him.

That was completely unrealistic!

Only the official Headquarters had that kind of capability, and even they faced certain limitations.

The solution Lin Qi proposed was simple and brutal.

Convert the camp’s Exoskeleton production lines directly into Prosthetic Body production lines!

Prosthetic Bodies placed far fewer demands on the user’s body than Exoskeletons. Furthermore, due to spatial constraints, a Prosthetic Body of the same volume could output far more combat power than an Exoskeleton.

"Prosthetic Bodies? Like... cyberpunk?"

Wang Ziru was so shocked he blurted it out.

Before the doomsday, the world had cyberpunk-themed cultural and entertainment products.

It was humanity’s vision of the future.

But now Lin Qi was saying he was going to bring that vision into reality?

"More or less, yes," Lin Qi nodded.

Lin Qi then briefly described the concept of Prosthetic Bodies to Wang Ziru, but he also explained their drawbacks.

"To ensure the efficiency of a Prosthetic Body, the connection to the user isn’t through analog signals, but a direct link to the nervous system."

"As a result, the Prosthetic Body will, to some extent, conflict with the immune system and corrode the nerves."

"So, anyone who wants a Prosthetic Body implant must undergo regular physical examinations to prevent excessive neural strain, which could burn out the brain and lead to cyber psychosis."

Lin Qi didn’t hide any of the Prosthetic Body’s defects, informing Wang Ziru of all the potential consequences.

The choice would be left up to each individual in the Mo University Camp.

Lin Qi wouldn’t force anyone. After all, besides the Mo University Camp, he still had Ding Yang as a channel to help him collect Extraordinary Items.

Lin Qi believed that, given the situation on Ding Yang’s side, there would probably be many Warriors fighting for a chance to get Prosthetic Body implants.

Not to mention the group of wounded who had lost arms and legs since the doomsday began.

"Boss, I understand. Leave the rest to me. By tomorrow, I will have a list of everyone willing to get a Prosthetic Body implant."
