Lin Qi went to talk to Wang Ziru about rewiring the entire building.

For the Survivor Camp to function normally and maintain production, a steady supply of electricity was essential.

"Boss, rewiring isn’t difficult. The university is full of equipment like transformers, but without a generator set, we can’t keep the power on for long..."

Wang Ziru had already considered this scenario long before the power grid collapsed. Students from related fields had even proposed a few unreliable solutions.

But none of them could guarantee a continuous power supply.

"For now, connect all the circuits to a single utility room. You don’t need to know the specifics of power generation. It involves Extraordinary Power, and I’ll handle all of it."

"But this is just a temporary solution. Tomorrow, I’ll give you some blueprints. First, build a super photovoltaic power plant on the Mo University Campus. At the same time, I’ll lead a team to develop a Cold Nuclear Reactor. You just need to ensure the camp develops normally."

"Expand the Survivor Camp as quickly as possible, clear out the Zombies on the Mo University grounds, push outward, and try to establish contact with the official rescue teams."

Right now, Lin Qi only had one Tier Two Extraordinary Item, which came from the giant Zombie.

The camp had to develop quickly so that Lin Qi could acquire more Extraordinary Items in the Doomsday World.

On his path as a Tier Two Wizard, Lin Qi had to pursue not only speed but also the quality of his Extraordinary Items.

He had to ensure the Abilities he gained in the future were no less bizarre than the ones from his Tier One stage.

The Survivor Camp and the official rescue teams could both be of great help to Lin Qi in his search for Extraordinary Items.

Wang Ziru replied, somewhat stunned.

On the Mo University Campus, Cafeteria No. 3 was the closest dining hall to the Club Activity Building.

A truck sped recklessly toward the cafeteria’s back door.

The back door, where the cafeteria received its deliveries, was very small.

"Move, move! Into the cafeteria!"

The squad leader, wearing an Exoskeleton, led the charge. The other three members didn’t have Exoskeletons, but they wielded electromagnetic guns.

Having consumed Crimson Crystal Stones long-term, their bodies were strong enough to rival professional athletes from peacetime.

The truck’s arrival drew a large horde of Zombies, but they were all blocked outside.

"Our mission is to move high-protein food. To put it bluntly, we’re going to the cafeteria kitchen to grab frozen meat from the freezers."

"The power grid just went down, so the meat in the cafeteria might be the camp’s last hearty meal for a while. Remember to grab as much as you can."

The four members of the team were all guys, and this wasn’t their first mission.

The banter eased their tension.

"Alright boys, put your gaming knowledge to use. Maintain R... wait, no, CQB formation. If you see a Zombie, shoot to kill."

"Roger!"

Boosted by the Exoskeletons and guns, the squad made short work of the common Zombies, even though they were much stronger than at the start of the apocalypse.

It only took half an hour for the squad to clear a path from the cafeteria kitchen to the back door.

All that was left was the heavy lifting.

Another half hour passed.

To the roar of the truck’s engine, the supply team from the Club Activity Building completed their mission and began the journey back.

On the way back, squad members leaned out of the truck’s rear and the passenger-side window.

They emptied the remaining rounds from their electromagnetic guns.

The electromagnetic guns were almost silent, so unloading their clips wouldn’t attract Zombies from further away.

"Aim true. Every Zombie we kill now is one less for later. The camp’s resources are limited, so don’t waste bullets."

"Roger!"

Behind the truck, Zombies fell one after another.

The squad’s mission was a complete success.

The squad’s operation was not stealthy, and it had been noticed by certain people.

"Holy shit! What is that stuff? Those college kids have guns?"

"They’re silent... those are fucking Electromagnetic Weapons! The students at Mo University are this badass? Is this Mo University or Harvard University?"

Beside a teaching building, a group of men holding Compound Bows had gathered.

But in most parts of Modu, not even a shadow of a rescue team could be seen.

Some survivors, especially those with "weapons" of their own, were beginning to have ideas they shouldn’t.

Perhaps the collapse of the power grid marked the true beginning of the apocalypse.

Back at the Club Activity Building, the supply teams began to return one after another.

"Man, firing a gun feels awesome. I took down more than twenty Zombies."

"If I remember correctly, we were each given a hundred bullets, right?"

The returning university students were still full of life, even in the apocalypse.

The despair brought on by the end of the world seemed to have been washed away.

In everyone’s eyes, there was passion, hope, and a hint of pure, unadulterated foolishness.
