Dual Worlds: I Have a Doomsday World

After giving his instructions to Wang Ziru, Lin Qi returned to the conference room and began to meditate.

Potions and equipment were merely external aids.

Only Extraordinary Power was something he could truly master himself.

Just as Lin Qi was meditating, the activity of the Spiritual Particles around him suddenly surged again.

Seventy times!

This was his current Meditation efficiency in the Doomsday World compared to the Cyber World.

Six days here were equivalent to a year there!

’What happened?’

’As far as I know, only the Dragon Country government can influence the activity of Spiritual Particles.’

’Every time I do something worthy of a military merit, the activity of the Spiritual Particles increases. And if the Dragon Country government uses their special methods to create the relevant documents, the increase is even more pronounced.’

’Does this mean Wu Peihe has already returned to Headquarters and secured new merits for me?’

Based on the degree of the increase in Spiritual Particle activity, he estimated this was likely a Second-Class Individual Merit.

The increase in Spiritual Particle activity was more significant than the last time he received a Third-Class Merit.

At this moment, Lin Qi was incredibly curious about the Extraordinary Item in the Dragon Country government’s possession. Just what kind of Extraordinary Item could have such a heaven-defying effect?

And did this Extraordinary Item have no limitations?

’If there were no ceiling, they’d probably have Tier Five masters by now.’

After pondering the effects of that Extraordinary Item for a while, Lin Qi cleared his mind and resumed his Meditation.

Speculating about the true strength of the Dragon Country government’s Extraordinary was pointless.

After all, Lin Qi’s foundation wasn’t in the Doomsday World at all.

The more hidden masters the Doomsday World had, the better it was for Lin Qi.

It meant he could increase his strength faster and his potential ceiling would be higher, which would be a greater boon to his future development in the Cyber World.

Time passed, second by second. When a trace of mental fatigue appeared, Lin Qi stopped his Meditation.

His Spiritual Power was growing too quickly for him to fully handle.

He checked the time. He had been meditating for a total of thirteen hours.

Calculated by efficiency, that was equivalent to more than a month of Meditation in the Cyber World.

’I’m still a ways off from the Third Stage of Tier Two. The higher the Wizard Level, the greater the gap in Spiritual Power. At this rate, even meditating for over twelve hours each time in the Doomsday World, I’ll still need at least five more days to advance.’

’Besides that, the expansion of my Spiritual Vision’s range is indeed slowing down. Around a thousand meters is probably its limit.’

He shook his head, still feeling it was a pity.

If Spiritual Vision were a Tier Four or even a Tier Five Ability, its upper limit might be able to cover an entire Cyber City.

With that kind of power, in his own Cyber City, he would be like an omnipotent Deity, controlling everything.

’I wonder if there’s a way for a Wizard to break past his limits. That’s something I’ll have to explore in the Cyber World. Although the Doomsday World has Extraordinary now, and the government even has Tier Threes, there aren’t any systematized Extraordinary Professions.’

As he pondered, Lin Qi walked out of the conference room.

By Lin Qi’s estimation, the tasks he had assigned should be nearly complete.

With sufficient equipment, any operation at the Mo University Camp was highly efficient.

Sure enough, when Lin Qi entered the production workshop, he saw ten humanoid robots. They just needed final debugging and the production and installation of some of their outer shells.

In a corner of the workshop, a dozen or so grunts were using files, aided by the strength of their Exoskeletons, to finish the shell components produced by the 3D printer.

This 3D printer in the Doomsday World was something Lin Qi had cobbled together himself back when he was producing the M-Class Mecha.

It was fine for producing large Mecha parts, but now, printing components for humanoid robots, its precision was lacking. It required the grunts to use their machinist skills for manual adjustments.

It would still be some time before they could be put into use.

Lin Qi walked out of the workshop and saw Wang Ziru.

Wang Ziru immediately reported, "Boss, the building modification work you arranged is basically finished. But we need to wait about ten more hours. Those large funnel pools were made with concrete, so we need to wait for it to fully set."

"Also, the Zombie corpses you asked us to collect last time are currently stored in the cold storage of the Sixth Dining Hall. We found the bodies of all the mutant Zombies we encountered before and have sorted and stored them."

Wang Ziru’s work efficiency was as high as ever. He always treated the tasks assigned by Lin Qi as his highest priority.

Lin Qi nodded. "Understood. You can get back to work. Don’t worry about me."

With that, Lin Qi went downstairs alone and headed toward the Sixth Dining Hall.

The Sixth Dining Hall wasn’t too far from the Club Activity Building, only about a one-kilometer walk.

Currently, across the entire Mo University area, only the Club Activity Building had its power restored; other locations had not. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

The only reason the cold storage in the Sixth Dining Hall was running was that the grunts in the production workshop hadn’t had their energy completely squeezed dry yet. They had found the time to rig up a fuel-powered generator.

They had even sent someone over to the Sixth Dining Hall to rewire the circuits, which is how they got power to the cold storage.
