Hoisting up a centrifuge, Lin Qi said to the two unlucky survivors, "The settlement is on the sixth floor. Just hold on a little longer. Follow me upstairs."

The two poor souls were extremely weak, so Lin Qi didn’t expect them to help carry the equipment.

Their will to live was strong, and they followed Lin Qi all the way to the sixth floor.

Lin Qi had just arrived when Wang Ziru came to his side. "Boss, were you out moving equipment?"

"Is there more equipment? Do you need me to arrange for some people to help? The first batch of Exoskeletons has been manufactured. We were limited by the materials in the building, so we don’t have many batteries. Only five suits are operational right now."

"Whatever makes you happy."

After saying this, Xia Chu sat down in a chair.

Tilting her head, Xia Chu gazed at Lin Qi’s face for a long time.

"What is it? Is there something on my face?" Lin Qi asked.

Xia Chu shook her head, then looked out the window. "Lin Qi, are we safe now?"

Lin Qi answered without hesitation. "Given the current strength of the Zombies, as long as we don’t run into one of those monsters capable of wiping out an entire rescue team, we’re safe for now."

Hearing this, a wave of sadness washed over Xia Chu. "Lin Qi... I’m homesick."
