Knotting His Rejected Breeder

Ramon couldn’t believe what was happening. He also couldn’t stop it from happening.

When he had agreed to play this stupid game with Daisy, he didn’t believe she would dare him to dance with Sonia.

He also didn’t believe he would agree to that stupid dare. It was either that, or sleep with one of the maids.

He had a strong policy against the latter. Sleeping with maids was not something he did.

Daisy put him in a tough spot, and he had to choose the one he knew he could control.

If he only knew he would be in a position where he wanted to rip off her dress and make love to her right in the centre of the party room while everyone else watched in envy, he would have declined the dare.

Nonetheless, they were here. Standing in front of each other. Breathing one breath.

If he thought she was beautiful before, he could see now that she was perhaps the most stunning creature to ever grace the earth.

Up close, she was even more perfect. Then there was her scent. She had a distinct scent. Nothing like any other wolf he had ever encountered.

It was sweet, and inviting. It called, no beckoned to him with authority.

Lastly, they were those eyes. Those haunting enchanting eyes of hers. If not properly shielded against their potency, it could bring the greatest of men to his knees.

What would become of him if she conquered him with her effortless charms?

He knew he had to step away before things got even more dangerous. But she had placed her hand on his chest, innocently he presumed.

His wolf did not know the difference. All it knew was that the woman he considered his mate was feeling him out.

He was excited, and ready to act on that excitement.

"Sonia," he called weakly as her hands began to move around his chest.

She didn’t understand what she was doing, but her instincts had taken over. She was curious.

Having never been this close to a man before, except for that time Blane took her against her will, she wanted to satisfy her curiosity.

She noticed his breath quickened with every movement of her hands on his chest.

"Does it hurt?" She questioned out of morbid fascination.

He almost melted into goo right there and then at her obvious naievity.

She had no idea what a touch like hers could do to a man. Could do to his wolf.

He was getting harder by the second, and his control was slipping.

If she kept this up, he would be forced to break his vow, by sweeping her into his arms, and carrying her to his room.

His body yearned for that release. It was more raw, much more primal than any other time he had been aroused.

"Sonia," he called for the second time.

Ignoring him, she continued her examination on his arms. They were muscular and strong.

He was a powerful man. Beautiful too. A dark and brooding, beautiful man.

"They’re so big," she said, as she pressed his muscles.

He knew something that was even bigger. Something that wanted to be released into her depths. Something that was going to plunge deep into her if she didn’t stop this madness.

Briefly, he wondered what people around were thinking as they watched them.

They had long stopped dancing. It must be fascinating to watch their alpha being touched this way.

Her hands rose up to his face. She touched his cheeks, his eyes, and then his mouth.

When it got to his mouth, she swallowed hard.

The movement made his wolf jump. He was about to wrap a hand around her waist and give her what her body desperately craved, when the door pushed open.

As she turned around, she saw Lorena approach them.

Her heart skipped a beat, and before she could think about what she was doing, she went behind him.

Ramon did not expect that movement. He didn’t think she would look to him for help. Not with how much he had done to hurt her. But she did anyway, and it touched a spot in his heart that had not been touched in a while.

"What is this?" Lorena asked, stopping in front of him.

Daisy, who was stuffing some lamb chops into her mouth, smiled.

This was exactly the kind of drama she signed up for. She didn’t know Lorena was around. She had wondered why the woman was nowhere to be found at the party.

But now she was, and the party was truly about to begin.

For Ivy, her heart was unsettled. It was cute to see Sonia hide behind the alpha. She just wondered if he was mature enough to protect her against his own pride. Especially in the presence of people.

"Behave, Lorena. There are people around," he warned.

"Bu– but–"

"Shhhh," he silenced her with a finger. "Do not say another word. If you want to continue in my good graces, you will keep it silent."

Sonia still held her breath, but in great disbelief. After she hid behind Ramon, she began second guessing her impulse.

He wasn’t going to protect her against his lover. She was better off throwing herself at Lorena so she could hurt her once and for all.

That had been her thought. Now she was pleasantly surprised at his protection. Finally, she had seen a side of Ramon that showed her there was goodness in him.

"For you, alpha," Lorena said, and turned around.

But she didn’t walk out of the room, she climbed up to Ramon’s table, and sat beside the alpha Daisy.

Ramon turned, at the same time Sonia curtsied like a court princess. When she rose to her feet again, she began walking towards her seat.

The crowd erupted in claps, and howls.

Ramon was fascinated. She had just bested him, and all it took was a touch.
