Knotting His Rejected Breeder

SONIA’S POV

The music grew louder, and the food multiplied, but I couldn’t bring myself to eat.

I kept playing around with my fork, watching it as it scraped back and forth on the plate.

I thought with how much my body craved food, I would inhale it whole at the sight of some, but I just couldn’t eat.

Maybe because my mind was fully occupied with thoughts of what was to come. Or the fact I could feel the alpha’s eyes on me at intervals.

Not the female alpha, Daisy, but Ramon. He stared at me like I was a Rubik’s cube, but at the same time, a pig.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to make of his attitude towards me tonight. He had me dressed up like a princess just to be told I was going to another pack?

Probably, this was his way of shielding himself from the truth. Perhaps, he didn’t want Alpha Daisy to think he was maltreating me.

A big shame, all the antics he used to feel better about himself. All that stress when he could just be kind to me instead.

There was a permanent knot in my stomach. The tension was so thick in there, it caused an ache.

"Why are you not eating?" I heard a familiar voice behind me ask.

I whipped my head behind to find Ivy standing with a bottle of wine.

"Ivy?!" My entire face lit up.

"Yes, Ivy. Doesn’t explain why you’re not eating. Don’t you like the food? Or is it the ambience?"

Before I could reply, the alpha cleared his throat. "Ivy, I believe I sent for the wine. Shouldn’t you drop it on my table before you make any other stops?"

I sighed internally. He heard her worried about me and couldn’t stand it. Left to him, I would be an outcast, never to experience any form of kindness.

The knot in my stomach rose to my chest. I didn’t want to pretend anymore, so I dropped the fork and reclined into my seat, as Ivy walked over to Ramon’s table.

To distract myself from my predicament, I focused my attention on the live band playing.

They were incredibly good. Subconsciously, I began to hum along to the tune they were playing.

As I hummed, my eyes closed. Images began to form in the darkness of my thoughts.

There was a woman. She was incredibly beautiful with dark hair, and dark eyes. Her facial features were like an enchantress. She was tall for a woman, with graceful curves, and perfect long legs.

She stood in the centre of this room, and her waist swayed from side to side in rhythm.

Her eyes were closed, and her hands spread apart. She looked free, and very comfortable.

Then there was a man watching her. He was handsome, strong, and had a permanent smile on his face.

His eyes sparkled with love as he watched her dance her heart out.

I didn’t know when I stopped humming, and began to smile.

They looked content with each other. The man, just okay with watching his woman dance around. And the woman, dancing around with no care in the world.

A heavy scent suddenly filled my nostrils, and my eyes shot open. In front of me was none other than Ramon.

"What are you doing?" He asked, looking at me with his usual expression of disgust.

My heart became heavy again. For that brief moment, I had known peace. My heart had been calm, and there was no burden.

But this was reality. And my reality was being captured by my father’s rival alpha, who treated me like a slave.

"Nothing." To my surprise, my voice was clear and steady.

"Dance with me." He stretched out his hands.

My eyes widened, and my ears twitched, as I wondered if this was also just figments of my imagination.

"Are you deaf? I said dance with me." He repeated.

Only then did I confirm it was really Ramon speaking. But why would he want to dance with me?

There was no day that went by that he didn’t make me feel like I deserved to die. Why did he suddenly want to dance with someone he hated with a burning passion?

Despite all of my reservations, I was in no position to refuse him. For my time in this pack, he owned me.

I placed my hands in his, and he dragged me to my feet.

His eyes remained on me as he led me to the centre of the room.

I could feel all eyes on me. The band had slowed down the tempo of their sound even more.

I was contemplating how exactly this was supposed to work, when he drew me into his body, and one of his hands went to my lower back.

I froze in place for a few seconds, as a jolt of electricity sizzled all over my body.

My wolf jumped at attention, and began to pur.

My curious eyes found his gaze, in search of an explanation for this sudden madness.

He didn’t respond, neither did he pull his gaze away. It locked with mine, as our other hands connected in a glove.

I didn’t think I was a good dancer, until we began to float round the room. My thoughts went to that woman, free as a bird.

Through the mirror of his eyes, I saw her as we danced.

Every movement was sensual, and arousing. Our breaths united, and became one.

As if we were not already close enough, he drew me even closer, until I was pressed hard against his body.My nipples hardened, and my mouth dried up.

I had never felt this way before, and it troubled me.

I was losing myself to him. This dance was a form of control, and I couldn’t help but surrender as he dictated the rhythm.

He released my body long enough to turn me around. When he pulled me back, my body swayed behind, and one leg went around his waist.He bent his body over mine, and then pulled my back up.

We stood, staring at each other. Exchanging heavy breaths. My hand reached out to his chest on its own volition. And for the first time, I felt his wolf.
