Healers Shouldn't be this Powerful

Chapter 7: Waters runs deep

That action alone set the room to a stand still. "Too much time has already been wasted, let’s see ourselves out" Her words were aimed at Niklaus but her eyes were like daggers aimed at Abrahim.

Niklaus, exhausted by the shallow classmates and Abrahim, whom he really doesn’t understand why he is against him so much. Not once in the past does he remember ever doing anything that warranted hatred from him.

But that was just a squabble he didn’t feel the need to get into. So he closely followed Matilda as she walked out. Seeing that he’s being disregarded and even got his crush to defend someone he greatly loathed. Abrahim didn’t know when his nails punctured his skin.

In the tallest building in the city, A man stood bare chested, an ice cooled drink in his hands. His eyes were focused on the Ocean, the horizon to be exact, like an art enthusiast admiring a painter’s masterful work.

Behind him was a man in an expensive looking suit, documents in his hands. Though normally a man of great stature and gunnered respect anywhere he went, he knew here he was nothing but a hill in front of a mountain.

"So you saying the higher ups aren’t happy with me leaking the information about what goes on after level 100, and they actually want me to retract my statement? What kind of nonsensical thing is that, are we not for humanity?

Sugre spoke in a calm booming voice, not agitation, but somewhere in his statement, his glass broke and littered all over the floor. He turned, his massive body, a magnificent spectacle for the eyes, but right now. Kolda felt like he was being strangled by the sheer pressure it exude.

The space within the Penthouse began to feel heavy. "This knowledge would not only help humanity, but we have so many neglected awakened who could help in the front line!!" His thunderous voice almost broke every window in the floor.

’Why the hell did they send me to deal with this mad man, if they wanted me dead they could have just said so’ Kolda thought as sweat was trickling down his face. "Here" He raised his hand towards Sugre, handing him the documents in his hands.

Upon taking and seeing what was within the documents, Sugre went and looked back at the agent who’s knee was planted in the floor. He then went to the nearby couch and sat.

"Why are they involved?" That was the only question he could ask, then looked outside again. "Fine, I won’t retract my statement, and I won’t say my statement was false, I’ll just let the news die and never speak of it again. That’s my bottom line" Hearing those merciful words, Kolda quickly rose to his feet.

"Yes, yes, I’ll be sure to get your message delivered" He then turned and left. A woman wearing glasses in a tight dress and black hair made into Bun, opened the door for him. After she closed, she walked to Sugre.

"Who knew simple words could carry such weight." She spoke in an amused manner/ "The water run deep, deeper than I had ever thought. No matter. Whatever they are trying to do won’t stand for long, People will continue being strong, soon many will break the 100 level mark as well, I wonder how they’ll respond then" His words paced as he looked at his secretary.

"So, have you found a way to battle your issue? You can’t afford to stand still, many will soon catch up to you if you stand there and hope a solution will come to you." She spoke with concern

"I know, but don’t let worry take over you,I’m close to a solution, I just don’t know what it is yet, I’m sure I’ll get there. I feel like it’s instinctual" His words made her feel relieved, then with a slight bow, she left him.

He picked up a bottle and tried to pour himself some liquor, then remembered that his glass was broken. ’Tch, I liked that glass’ then he proceeded to swig the bottle.

Soon Niklaus had reached the Awakened wing of the Military Academy, Upon arrival, he was met with a grand building. The building was situated at the back of the Academy, so he could only see the top half.

Compared to the building one normally sees once they enter the academy, which was built without any characteristics in mind. This one looked like an artist’s greatest art, like a Victorian style architecture, It looked like a sculpture that people happened to live in.

The space around it was huge too, upon entering it felt like the conditions inside were made perfectly for him. ’A rune master class awakener must have carved runes all over this place, I guess the military views awakeners with special care’

Soon Teacher Sayas made it to the front desk. "Mr Mayars, you seem to have gotten fewer this year than last, but I can feel the pressure given off, far surpasses the previous by a large margin, well except that one. I can feel great magic from him but his aura is not as oppressive" He spoke looking at Niklaus.

"Well what do you expect from trash, with a healer class" Abrahim who just walked in, quickly chimed in as though he had been waiting to insult Niklaus all this time. The receptionist attendant seemed to understand now and didn’t go further in the matter.

"I’m guessing you wish to register them?" He asked, looking at Sayas, to which he replied by nodding his head. The Receptionist’s hands quickly danced on keys of his computer , and in a few minutes he handed the teacher a document.

"You know what to do, they should be busy with other classes, so you could go into the waiting area till it’s your turn. Soon as they prepared to leave, Sayas turned and looked at Matilda.

"This part should not concern you,you are already registered, you should head to your class." Matilda looked at him for a few seconds then turned to look at Niklaus. When Abrahim saw how she looked at him. His jealousy flared.
