The group went in to clean the remainder. But just as they were about to kill the last beats. A colossal presence was suddenly felt, The ground under their soles shook as a huge body just landed not far from them.

"Wha... What’s happening?" Gladious couldn’t help but question, the dust covered what just arrived. Then an imposing silhouette could be seen drawn by the dust, almost 3 meters tall with a lean body. "No! Guys we are in deep shit!" Gladious soon recognise the make out of the new arrival.

A tail wiped, clearing the polluted air, then revealing what was behind the dust. A Grand Laeka, Beta ranked beats! The team almost froze looking at the new challenger. Even Niklaus, who was just joking about his strength touching the Beta Rank, was frightened.

For a moment its enormous body, casting a large shadow stood there, its reddened eyes scanning through the fields. Each breath released a menacing growl. Chilling the spines of everyone.

Niklaus’s eyes turned green. Trying to understand what they were seeing, but at that moment it came back blank. ’That’s odd’. Just as he was about to look again.

This time he saw something, the back muscles of the beast seemed to shift a bit, then he turned and saw Daxi being the one it was glared at. "Daxi!!! Shadow Now!" He yelled a command. When she heard it, she looked at him with a bit of confusion.

But it was too late, she suddenly felt the wind around her shift, then a huge shadow, blanketing her. When she turned to check. An enormous attack was already coming for her.

She didn’t have the time to think, her eyes closed, accepting her fate. But instead of an embrace of death, she felt the center of her gravity change, from down to back.

Gladious pulled her towards him, when she checked where she stood before, a huge hole replaced her presence with a beast standing there looking at Gladious.

Just as Laeken stood there, Matilda came and slashed at it exposed back. But the moment the sword made contact,She felt like she had hit a block of steel. Niklaus saw a jerk in its back tendon. "Back leg!" He shouted once more. Matilda quickly spun mid air.

The Grand Laeken shot a quick back foot attack, and as soon as it got close to her, she was in the perfect position to use the leg as a foot rest. Propelling her in the air.

’I need explosive power if we need to do some damage.’ Niklaus thought for a moment. Then he remembered something from Grus’s memories.

He was battling with an army of flying gargoyles. Surrounded with his men down for the count. He then manipulated the sweat glands in his hand to release his blood. Unlike normal blood, this one had a glowing effect

Then with a hand swing, the blood sprayed everything on sight. Then in the next seconds The Gargoyles started to explode and incinerate at the same time. As though the blood had a corrosive fire like element.

’That is easier thought than done. I don’t think I even have the mana to do something like that.’ He thought, but that didn’t mean he was planning to shelve the idea. But first he noticed something.

"Let’s see whether knowledge alone is enough. " Blood started to drip off his hand, The Crimson liquid started to turn dark at a visible rate as its shape morphed.
