Healers Shouldn't be this Powerful

They got in the car and up they went. "Klaus, do you know how much your relatives cheated you?" After a short moment of silence, Gladious could help but ask.

"Don’t know. Well, I never wanted to know, after I realised that I was being cheated, it was too late. I tried going to the government and anyone who can listen to me, none even bat an eye" His eyes were bloodshot, his breathing quickened.

When Gladious looked. He saw Niklaus’s fist tightened, even shaking a bit. "You plan to do something about it?" When he asked that question, Niklaus turned his head and looked at him.

Instead of anger there was a serene smile on his face. "Unexpectetly the first step happened today, There’s something about my parent’s passing that doesn’t make sense. And too many powerful people seem to be involved, I had no power to do anything, but with the status I gained today, an unexpected but welcomed situation happened.

When I awakened the healer class, I thought I was at the end of my ropes, and should look for another long and intricate way to take my revenge. But who would have known that in Billions of people, and tens of thousands of healers, I would be the one that becomes a raider."

Gladious listened,’ seems he had been keeping the pain locked within, thinking he’s alone. Soon they made it to a house by the mountain, more like a mansion situated at the side of a cliff, the whole building was made of glass overlooking the city, an infinity pool at the roof top, and a large yard that looked like they had to move out much dirt to be possible.

There was a dedicated location for flying vehicles. As soon as they made it down, there was a maid with a tray with 2 glasses of water ready to serve them. Nicklus acted normally at the sight of this.

His life was similar to this at one point if not more. He was practically a young master then. Just as they were walking a little girl came running. "Uncle Nick.. Uncle Nick, uncle Nick" Her small voice was loud for someone so little.

Seeing her coming running awkwardly, Niklaus kneeled down and extended his hands. Seeing this the little girl got even more excited and quickly ran into his hands. "Wooh, Little Nina has gotten big, soon you will have to pick me up hahaha" Listening to Nicklaus. Nina could only giggle.

Soon they made it to the mansion. "Young Master Simense, Welcome back, you too Mr Genesis, The master will see you soon in the theater room." The butler said, his head slightly tilted forward. "Thanks, I’ll head there right away." Gladious said.

With Nina playing in Niklaus’s arms, they soon made it to the theater room. The screen played a black and white movie. Inside a man set, quite with his attention never leaving the screen.

He looked to be in his 30’s just by glance. But Niklaus knew he was way older than that. One of the few humans who were closer to reaching the level 100 mark. "Long time Klaus, you seem more mature than when I last saw you"

Finally he turned to look at Niklaus who was still at the door. "Come in and sit, the best part is about to come" On the screen it showed a bloodied man, on the ground, surrounded by an untold number of people. Next to this man was a well of water.

The men standing could help but laugh, looking at his defeated opponent. "This is it Jack, for so long, many always saw you as the better, but look at who is standing and who is eating dust. Hahaha" The man continued to laugh. Then suddenly the man on the ground fell inside the well full of water,

Which made the many men standing to laugh harder.

"Hey look at that, he was so tired of his failure that he thought killing himself is the solution" One of the men on the said spoke with a belly full of laughter.

But suddenly an intense light came followed by extreme heat. Then lastly a loud sound. Destroying everything in its way. Following that Jack came out of the water. And his surroundings were destroyed along with everyone .

Soon the movie ended. "Well that was a great movie, I really like these old style movies, they play like documentaries, about a time before gates or bridges." Gladious’s father had a commanding voice.

Niklaus felt nervous being near him despite knowing him. "Gladious told me you became a raider, congratulations. Matha and Elaija would’ve been proud of you. Since I heard about your situation I been doing some searching, and it seems this situation goes deeper than a simple inheritance"

Niklaus was surprised to hear that. "So for now what I can tell you is, just like that movie, lay low but make sure you gain advantage so that when they think they have won, your strength will give you the advantage you need. I’ll still keep exerting pressure,"

Niklaus smiles, listening to that. "Thanks Uncle" His words were genuine, for some time he thought he was alone.. The family who held the same DNA as him turned their backs on him.

Leaving him feeling alone. "Hey hehe, no need for such sentiments. Tomorrow your buys are going for who knows how long, so let’s have a feast, Gladious’s mother had been busy preparing the dining hall to celebrate.

Soon the house was full of laughter as the sounds of plates and conversation filled every corner of the house. Time went and the next day arrived.

Niklaus slept at Gladious’s home. Then borrowed a change of clothing from him. "Good thing you didn’t get fat since last I saw you, or this would have been awkward hahaha" Gladious said, looking at his friend who fit perfectly in the clothing he gave as though they were made for him
