Healers Shouldn't be this Powerful

Chapter 22: The Hooded Men

’Does this mean this world also had someone who wished for classes? Or was there something more to this than a simple wish. And why were there always raids? To what end?’ Niklaus wondered. Then the scene changed once more. This time it showed an increase in the awakened.

At the same time it showed a world where bridges kept opening with all sorts of monsters and beats flooding the world. The awakened were strong, their power was unimaginable. Just one attack and a whole city section got wiped out.

Their power didn’t seem to rely much on their classes. If they had to guess, it seems there is more to breaking past level 100 than a simple power up. But suddenly a group of hooded individuals suddenly appeared.

They were insanely powerful. Each of their attacks took down numerous enemies. They made the first attacks seem like a playground. They seem to have changed the trajectory of the war.

But suddenly the hooded individuals suddenly turned and dashed straight to the awakened group of the native. With a quick slash, they took out the cores of the awakened. Under the hood, Niklaus could see a creepy smile.

He looked at one of the hooded men. He seems to be their leader. Though this was just a simple scene from a pre-recording, Niklaus felt as though he was being suffocated. The cells in his body started to get excited.

Too excited as though they saw someone they recognise. Next moment the eyes of the man shifted towards Niklaus, suddenly Niklaus felt like his heart was about to stop beating. But that man wasn’t really looking at him.

A figure appeared right where Niklaus stood. It seems the two knew each other for a long time. Then the man took off his hood. The group suddenly got shocked by what they saw. It was a human.

The man massacring the natives was actually a human. They couldn’t see the new arrival’s face but they seemed to be human as well but they kept their hoodie on.

What happened next could only be described as, battle of the titans. The two engaged in a battle that changed the landscape. Everything that once made the city was turned to ash. As they watched Niklaus had a weird feeling watching this man fight.

He didn’t fight like someone who used combat class. ’Why does he look like a healer, they way he fights, his movements. That feeling I’m getting off him. Healers shouldn’t be this powerful, right? And another thing, how is he using weapons’

The two Godly beings seem to be adamant in destroying each other. Then suddenly more came and went against the human, from what it seems he couldn’t hold on for long. Next moment a great blaze of fire came crimson like a red sun descended like a judgement flame.

Aimed at the healer. Once the man saw it, he didn’t panic, instead he just smiled. His crazed eyes looked at his attackers. They held no life, no ounce of humanity in them. When Daxi saw them she quickly got shocked.

She had seen those eyes, those apathetic eyes that held no remorse nor compassion. Her head quickly turned and looked at Niklaus who was watching the scenes. Next thing the man smiled.

It wasn’t a smile of defeat nor a man ready to give up. The air around him suddenly started to move violently like a cyclone. Niklaus and his group suddenly felt as though they were held in place by an invincible force.

Their bodies sweating, clothing trenched. The scene before then felt as though it was happening to them. Words couldn’t come out of their mouths. The man’s body started to release an intense Golden color.

As soon as this happened, the group of men fighting this man, turned then disappeared as though they next existed there before. This action had the group shocked. "What the hell is going on, the team of powerful warriors ran just like that" Gladious said.

The next moment, an answer to their question came before them. The space they were at turned intensely bright. "Did he just explode?" Daxi asked, looking at the huge hole left by the explosion.

But oddly enough, instead of a barren area with nothing in sight. Once the light was gone, they were introduced to a lush land. Plants, trees and grass everywhere. This scene got everyone confused.

"Was that a vitality explosion?" Niklaus wondered. This thought scared him. As someone who heals, he understood vitality, and he understood what it meant to a healer. So for someone to be able to release such a number of vitality, it was simply impossible to think about.

The scene changed once more. This time it showed the natives, few in number building what seems to be a city. They still raided. Bringing new technology and knowledge. The scene didn’t change this time, instead time started to move fast.

At first it was a normal city, then it got better, then it looked advanced. Then finally futuristic. After futuristic it became the very city they stood in right now. As they watched. One question still stood at the back of their minds,

Where is everyone? Then everything went dark. Following that, one building after another started to illuminate once more. And the building from before was illuminated again. This time they didn’t question the building.

As though a mutual agreement, the team started walking. "What was that we just saw" Daxi was the first to speak, Her voice still shaken by the man in the scenes shown.

"I don’t know, but that was scary to watch, our world progressed the same, does this mean we might experience the same purging by that man" Gladious asked. In his mind was the man with a look which held no one in regard.

"Stop thinking stupid stuff, yes the worlds may look similar but aint no way there is a man who’s waiting for a world to progress to a certain point to invade it, reaping apart their chests and taking their core" Niklaus spoke with confidence.
