Healers Shouldn't be this Powerful

"Damn deities were never fair, look at you, I haven’t seen you for so long, yet you have become even that much more good looking, girls chased you to no end in our younger days, now you look more mature" Niklaus couldn’t help but complain when he saw the his friend’s golden eyes, with golden silky hair flowing down his shoulders.

"Look who is talking, man you are as dense as the day I met you. Your looks always match mine.." Just as Gladious was about to finish Daxi laughed hard, she even held her tummy.

"Ow, my, ow my god, are you guys going to kiss? Hahahaha Stop wasting our time, We have to go check and select our gear for the raid. Stop sucking each other’s dicks and let’s get going" She pushed her hair a bit allowing the boys to see her beautiful emerald blue eyes.

This one action had the boys silent in obedience. They walked into the Awakened wing building and after some few turns. They came across an area with a guard in front of a massive door and a woman behind a desk.

The moment she saw them coming, a warm smile found its way to her face. "Hello there, how may I help?" She used her professional voice, looking at Matilda ,she was the one walking in front of everyone.

"We need to prepare for a raid, The Director gave us this, he said with it we have a one time pass, allowing us to take anything we want free." She took out a black card, Niklaus could only guess the Director gave it to her while they were in his office.

"Looks, legit, Ok. you may enter, and be careful with what you touch, just because it’s free means you can play with everything in there." As she spoke, she placed her finger on a device that was on the desk, scanning her finger, resulting in the door behind her slowly opening.

As soon as they walked in, Matilda turned and looked at the three. "Remember, other than your powers, your gear is acts as your second defence, think of it as your spare life, Make sure you understand the raid report given to you and gear accordingly, worlds are different,

Each requires a different set of outfit, normally I would inform you to also not to cheap out on potions, but our group has a healer, so we can’t get a little light on that" She spoke looking at Niklaus.

"Boss sister, I think because we have a healer, we should have a good amount of potion! He is still a healer at the end of the day, we can’t wait for him to charge up while we are in the middle of a battle, no offense" Daxi couldn’t help but retaliate.

This was concerning her safety. "Come on, there’s a reason we have a healer in our team, there’s no need to be hush" Gladious stood up for his friend. "So what if I’m being hush, I’m not looking down on him. I still don’t know his capabilities, I don’t plan to know it while my life hang in balance"

Seeing that his two teammates were at each other’s necks because of him, Niklaus quickly prepared to say something, but someone else had already beaten him to it.

"Daxi, I understand your concern, and know why you are against this. I’ll use my family name to vouch for him. And I also trust your strength enough to know nothing will happen to you" The moment used her family name, shock became evident on Daxi’s face, she had to do a double take on Niklaus.

"Fine, Though this raid might prove boring and uneventful, I’ll use it to judge your capabilities. No way will I get left behind, then have a healer continue to drag me down" She then walked in deep within the armour isle.

Everyone followed, leaving Niklaus standing there. ’There’s more to my power, I know it, I just need to grow strong and show them, first I need something that will be perfect for the raid’

With that he went right in. Reached the weapons area. There sat swords, spears, pickaxe and so much more. His eyes were yawning. Just a simple demonstration, unfortunately his Class can’t allow weapons, then he went to the mage staff area.

Looking around he saw no staff made specifically for healers, there were no general staff also. ’Well, this is getting off to a rocky start’. Then he went to a rack that held hand to hand combat manualbooks, they looked old, like they should be displayed at a museum.

From the looks of it, no one has ever taken any of them out. He slowly took out one with the titlebasic boxing fist volume one. The book looked like it was held together by prayers and hopes.

’Since I can’t use weapons, why not try to use hands then, he then looked for another book that could help him evade attacks. Another book caught his eyes. Quick Step leg work. ’Well the name sounds generic, but the academy won’t place useless books here right?’

With the matter of offence fixed, he went to check on the armour side, the others seem to have already chosen their own armor now. When he got there, he saw Daxi wearing a full body armour that made her look like a training doll, waiting to be hit.

"Why hasn’t it been refitted yet, are the runes not working?" She took it off, then put on another just like that one. This time something happened. The hard material suddenly became flimsy, looking like simple fabric.

The size got smaller, till the armor was holding her body close, exposing her curvaceous legs, and small waist. Her chest was almost flat making her look exquisite in her armour. Though it looked breathable now, it was still as tough if not tougher than when she put it on.
