Healers Shouldn't be this Powerful

He looked at everyone, and just like him they were shocked by the revelation, but Daxi’s expression couldn’t be made out due to her eyes covered, and the ever confident smile that looks like it has been tattooed on her face. She seems to know Matilda more than any of them.

"Don’t just stand there, get going!" She ordered, as a flurry of footsteps could be heard matching on in a distance. Her voice quickly got everyone back to the situation. Zumba and Gorath finally arrive and witness what has become of the faces they once called brother.

"JUST ONE!" Zumba roared, without waiting for her approval, he went and picked up a battle axe. At that moment it felt like the world itself forgot its story and witnessed what was happening.

He went to the nearest bush, and neatly placed it. Then with his two fingers, he spoke quietly. "They carried you, now carry them" Gorath came after and repeated.

After they were done another flare took to the sky, looking closer than the last one. "Let’s Go!!!" Niklaus bellowed. He spread his blood around the area. This action had everyone confused, but they have already accepted that their healer is an odd one, so none asked. And just ran.

’I hope the principle I thought really works, I tried mimicking the mana flow Grus used. At my level it’s impossible to do what he did but, I can try doing a miniature version.’ he thought, After he was done. The footsteps sounded about 10 metres away.

His feet dug the ground, taking a running stance. His thighs mimicked the Speed Simian’s muscle formation. Stretching his elastic pants. Then like lightning, He shot out of sight. The air around the area exploded.

Nearby trees leaned to the side by the sheer gush of ferocious wind battering them. After he left, a trailer of damaged ground was left tearing down tree branches along the way. Moments after he left. A hulking figure emerged from the trees.

His colossal body was more formidable than any One Eyed Hermit Niklaus and his team has ever come across.

"Majda you said they were here, it seems they ran as soon as they heard our footsteps, can you see their current location" The giant spoke with a thick voice.

Next to him was a skinny One Eyes Hermit, his small frame looked like a midget when he stood next to the hulking giant near him.

"Yes village chief" Majda, closed his eyes, following that the village chief closed his eyes as well. And looked at the images Majda shared with him. Just when the connection with the nearest bug was about to show something, a streak of green light swooshed by instantly taking it down, they quickly changed to another reconnaissance bug.

And just like the other one, its vision went blank as soon as the connection stabilised, "What’s going on?" Majada voiced his confusion. This went on for a moment. "It appears as though I’m trying to observe a Speed Simian." He added.

"That’s unlikely, those speed cowards would never make it this far, it must be one of them, use something near the cave" The village chief commanded.

Following the command... in a distance they saw a group of invaders with few of their own running toward the cave.

"What could they be looking for there?" The chief voiced his confusion. Next thing, the green blur they had been missing soon joined them, finally they saw the party who was evading their eyes..

"No matter, Grand Wizard Gramha wants their heads let’s advance, once they reach the cave there’s no way out" He commanded.

Just as they were about to advance, the ground shook. In the next instant a blinding light with a defining sound hit them. Cracks appeared on the ground, some trees even had their branches broken. Just as it was about to reach them a translucent barrier was erected.

The explosion ended as soon as it came. "Such a cowardly and weak attack. To think Gorath, A son of mine would put his trust on such weak creatures. Such a disgrace" HIs face crumpled like an unironed shit.

Meanwhile Niklaus felt the explosion happen.. The rest heard it and quickly turned back. Then their faces shifted to Niklaus with a questioning look. "I’m working on something, But it seems to be lacking at the moment" He spoke matter of factly.

He didn’t see the shocked look from Gladious and Daxi. Right now he was lost in his mind. ’Looks like the theory worked, but it still lacked something, I’m not expecting a huge explosion but with my Mana capacity it should have been more’ His face looked frustrated.

"We are here" A voice rang out, pulling him out of his mind. When he turned to look, he saw something out of his expectation. The One Eyes Hermits kept saying Cave. But before them was nothing but.

Technically they were right, Before them stood an imposing mountain, Its colossal size was felt and it was so tall, it was piercing the heavens. Standing next to it Niklaus tilted his eard high, though dark out. He felt the pressure just by standing near it. ’How did we not see this till now’ that was the first thought that came to mind.

The entrance was carved in intricate and appealing marks signifying a presence of a previous civilization.

The carvings weren’t crude,infact they were masterfully made, well edged like a high powered tool was made or a mage of a considerable strength was responsible. The entrance had a drainage system right at the beginning and every so few steps as it cascaded downwards in the dark.

On the sides showed touch placements with wooden sticks with a purposeful looking design. Upon a closer look there appeared to be some runes carvings on the side. "There were other lifeforms here, hundreds maybe thousands of years ago it appeared" Matilda broke the silence.

Everyone nodded but that statement had Gorath and Zumba looking around with raised eyebrows.
