Their attention was fixed on the man standing,his hands balanced on the cold wooden desk. The room had sparse lighting, making it hard to see everything but the round desk placed in the middle.

Niklaus had already finished all his registrations, and caught up with Matilda. She was with a tall girl with cyan wavy afro hair covering her eyes, and had a confident smile that never left her face. She had a blue tank top with a strip of trainer bra sticking out from her shoulder.

Looking at her, Niklaus couldn’t help but feel intimidated by her presence alone. "Well is this the pip squeak who will be joining us? Looks quite unassuming that’s for sure HAhahaha"

Her voice was quite energetic. Niklaus’s face changed when he heard what she called him. "Daxi, I told you to behave. Let’s wait for Gladious, he should be here soon" Matilda spoke patiently.

Niklaus looked at Daxi, though he couldn’t see her eyes, he could feel like she was staring at him. She stood at 180 cm, her body looked like that of a female body builder, though her hair was covering the upper part of her face. He could tell she was beautiful. With a wild girl energy coming off her.

She quickly went to Matilda and held her within her arms as if she was holding a lover. "Hey, don’t be mad at me, I was just teasing him. We are going to have him in our team, so I needed to understand how he would react if I teased him.. Please, please don’t be mad"

Niklaus could see she was being playful, Matilda though she was being held and shaken left and right seemed perfectly Ok with it.

"Well look which the idiot Gods dragged in" A voice came in, it quickly startled Niklaus, he couldn’t believe his ears. When he turned he saw Glade, his childhood friend whom he went to the previous school with until he had to move.

"Glade? Glade, is that you?" He spoke but still in disbelief. Looking at the young man before him, his tall stature was something he recognized all too well. He had always been the giant in their grade,

"Glade, it’s been a long time since someone shortened my name, I got bullied because of that... Hahaha, What’up Kleus, long time no see" This statement sealed it. Niklaus quickly ran to him.

As he opened his arms for a hug, a palm stopped him from advancing.

"Wooah, wooah there buddy, I don’t swing that way, I like them soft and bouncy, not flat and hard..."

Silence rained in, Daxi giggling watching this interaction, even Maltilda almost broke her stoic look. Niklaus looked awkward, standing there arms open and a hand shoving him back.

"Alright, alright, I was just joking." He returned the hug. "It’s good to see you man, and I’m sorry to hear about your parents, I wish I was here for when it happened.... AND YOUR..."

"There’s no need to get riled up over that" Niklaus dismissed the last part. But he felt a bit warmth inside, it had been long since someone got mad on his behalf.
