That’s why the great Empires and Kingdoms have almost no armies composed of Tier Two Transcendents. After all, if you can be a noble lord, who would want to be a common soldier?

Besides, in a world of Extraordinary power, the combat strength of a high-level individual is clearly superior to that of numerous mid-level ones.

Regardless, Isaac’s two thousand Great Sword Ghosts were a force that no noble could afford to underestimate!

Because these were two thousand Tier Twos that had materialized out of thin air!

They required no food or supplies!

Why would such a fucked-up form of Witchcraft even exist in this world?

Watching the situation on the island, the corner of the young man’s mouth twitched. Although he had already received some intelligence on Isaac from his family, seeing this scene with his own eyes was still deeply shocking.

If the young man was shocked, Avin, at his side, was even more stunned. His perspective was broader than the young man’s, so he recognized at a glance that Isaac wasn’t... He saw instantly that the Flesh Nest behind Isaac and the faint, shadowy power shared the same origin.

They likely came from the same Outer God.

And that faint power had to be the legendary Dimension. Combining that with the appearance of the Flesh Nest and the power it displayed, it was almost certain that this power originated from the Dimensional Demon God, the Master of Billions of Flesh!

Furthermore, the way Isaac had acquired that Dimension behind him was definitely not legitimate!

Even a trading ritual arranged by a High-level Mage couldn’t possibly acquire a Dimension Seed from a Dimensional Demon God. That thing was tied to the very source of a Demon God’s power. Unless the God was acting as someone’s dog, there was no way It would ever trade something like that away.

So, Isaac truly was a traditional Mad Witch!

So, Isaac was really going to use that method he mentioned to advance!

It was over!

I’m going to be responsible for a catastrophe!

For a moment, a wave of despair washed over Avin. He didn’t entertain the possibility of Isaac winning indefinitely, because historically, exceedingly few Mad Witches who walked this path had ever succeeded. Before their failures, every last one of them had been supremely confident, believing they could never lose.

They all declared their odds of success to be one hundred percent!

’Of course your personal success rate is one hundred percent,’ Avin thought. ’The moment it drops below that, you’ve already kicked the bucket.’

On the island, Isaac was oblivious to the despair in Avin’s heart. After converting all the Flesh Essence in his hands into Great Sword Ghosts, he didn’t stop. He stood firmly upon the flesh mountain’s... cavern, pouring endless Magic Power into it. This caused it to tremble continuously, endlessly spewing out a fleshy sludge that transformed into a limitless tide of Demonized Rats.

These Demonized Rats were different from the last batch. They weren’t merely Demonized Rats; working in concert with Shushu, a faint trace of Death Magic Power had been embedded within their bodies.

This was only possible because Shushu had now advanced to Tier One; otherwise, even draining it dry wouldn’t have produced this much Death Magic Power.

After finishing all this, Isaac finally pulled a Crystal Ball from his pocket. He smiled and spoke softly, "Everyone, don’t panic. We’re all human, so at a time like this, we should naturally unite against our external foe. All I want is first place in this contest. As long as you don’t compete with me for it, my little guys won’t harm you. In fact, they’ll help you kill the Sea Race. The kills are yours; I only want the bodies."

"Those who agree can place a Demonized Rat on their shoulder. Don’t worry, they won’t harm humans. They were all created with my Witchcraft and carry no toxins."

After speaking, Isaac gave the Crystal Ball a light squeeze. Golden threads materialized inside it. With a casual toss, the Crystal Ball immediately soared into the clouds.

Immediately, the words Isaac had just spoken rained down from the clouds. Many Adventurers who had been preparing to retreat paused, expressions of pleasant surprise on their faces. Meanwhile, the Adventurers who had already reached the sanctuary of the fleet were beating their chests and stamping their feet in vexation. Why had they been so cowardly and pulled out early?

If they had stayed on the Third Sea Island and cooperated with all those Great Sword Ghosts to hunt the Sea Race, how would that have been any different from picking up free money?

But regret was just regret; time could not be turned back. Once an opportunity is missed, it’s gone for good. There was nothing to be done.

Some, like Sylvie, who knew a bit about the inner workings of the contest, turned their gazes to the young man from the Noy Clan. If he were to grant permission, it wasn’t entirely impossible for them to have a second chance.

Unfortunately, despite the scattered, pleading gazes of the Adventurers, Sylvie’s among them, the young man remained unmoved. True, he could send these people back to the island, but it was unnecessary.

Once Isaac’s two thousand Great Sword Ghosts had taken form and he had persuaded the Adventurers on the island, the Noy Family’s objective had effectively been achieved. The forces on the island were now overwhelmingly powerful. No matter how many of the Sea Race they sent, that’s how many would die!

Adding these Adventurers back into the fray wouldn’t improve the outcome in the slightest. At best, the gesture might earn him some goodwill from them, but firstly, it was debatable whether it would even be genuine goodwill. Secondly, it wasn’t worth breaking the rules of the ritual for such a minor gain.

When the crowd saw the young man give no indication of acting, they all abandoned their hopes, sighed, and turned their attention back to the island.

On the island, although the remaining people didn’t know the precise number of Great Sword Ghosts like the young man from the Noy Clan did, they weren’t blind or deaf. A quick look and listen gave them a rough count. So, when Isaac presented his offer, they gladly took the olive branch he extended.

At the end of the day, whether they were Adventurers competing for the top spot or simply there to kill the Sea Race, what they all sought were benefits. As long as that need was met, they naturally didn’t care about the rest.

And so, as the Great Sword Ghosts and Adventurers began to cooperate, the Sea Race on the island found themselves in increasingly dire straits, while the Sea Race outside the island grew ever more frantic.

To the Sea Race, the Third Island had become a massive, hyper-efficient slaughterhouse. It was like a bottomless Abyss; no matter how many of their people they sent, they would quickly vanish into the darkness without a sound.

This situation continued until Isaac had collected half of the Crystal Stones, firmly securing his spot at the top of the contest’s leaderboard.

By now, many among the Sea Race had already given up on the contest. No matter how powerful their faction was, these losses were a truly painful blow.

More importantly, as time passed, Isaac’s Great Sword Ghost Legion and the Adventurers had firmly seized the island’s strategic choke points. Aided by a tide-like rat swarm, they had set an inescapable trap.

Anyone who landed would be hunted down and annihilated in moments. To set foot on the island now was meaningless, a suicide mission.

On a reef at the bottom of the sea, a diverse group of seven or eight members of the Sea Race were gathered around a Crystal Ball. Inside it, the current situation on the island was displayed. As the image shifted, the layers of ambushes set by the Great Sword Ghosts and human Adventurers were laid bare before their eyes.

But this was of no damn use. First, the power disparity was too great for this intelligence to bridge. Second, such detailed information was only visible here. Once they were on that godforsaken island, which was now crawling with rats, they would have no intelligence advantage whatsoever.

Finally, the image in the Crystal Ball settled on the young man beside the flesh mountain’s... cavern. As they stared at him, their expressions darkened. So, this was the guy who had ruined their plans this year!

"Isaac Solomon... With him around, we can’t win. Should we... take care of him?" The speaker was a Sharkman. He grinned at the image of Isaac in the Crystal Ball, revealing teeth like a saw’s edge. The cold light glinting off them was enough to make one’s blood run cold.

Among the group, a Sea Race Wizard wearing a Wizard Robe and a pointed Wizard Hat shot the Sharkman a look as if he were a complete idiot.

"Idiot! If you want to die, go by yourself! Don’t bring trouble down on the Sea Race! He’s a Mad Witch! A lunatic who can channel Divine Power! He lives on land, so we have no way of getting to him, but the same isn’t true in reverse. If he were to go looking for a Deep Sea Evil God, do you have any idea how much destruction that would bring to our people?!"

Faced with the Sea Race Wizard’s rebuke, the seemingly ferocious Sharkman immediately recoiled but still retorted defiantly, "So we’re just supposed to let him be? I, for one, can’t swallow this insult!"

The Sea Race Wizard glanced at the Sharkman, speechless. ’What a moron,’ he thought.

"Have our people pull back. It’s pointless now. We’ve lost this time. As for Isaac..." The Sea Race Wizard paused, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "He’s a Mad Witch, so why don’t we give him something he’ll like? As it happens, we have all these cursed artifacts detailing Evil God Ceremonies that we need to get rid of... Heh heh heh heh..."
