Wizard: Scamming a Demon God

With those two matters taken care of, Isaac rose, ready to leave the chamber and head to his laboratory to research Witchcraft. Just as he reached the door, he suddenly remembered something. He turned and said, "By the way, Smith. The Breathing Skill you practice is the Black Snake Breathing Technique, right?"

"Yes, Young Master."

"Good. Practice more whenever you have the time. I’ll help you advance to the rank of Great Knight, and I’ll have to trouble you to continue taking care of me."

Smith paused, stunned for a moment. Then, a gratified smile spread across his face as he bowed deeply and offered his thanks.

"Thank you, Young Master."

Isaac waved his hand dismissively, then headed for the laboratory behind the castle.

However, this comes at the cost of completely draining the Dragon Lizard’s life force. The Magic’s effect only lasts for ten seconds. After those ten seconds, no matter how powerful the Giant Dragon it had become, the creature would revert to a Dragon Lizard and then die.

The goal of the *Dragon Blood Demon Bloodline Purification Research* is to make this magical effect permanent, thereby achieving an unlimited supply of Giant Dragon materials!

After all, he had already simulated the entire process in his mind countless times back in the Imperial Capital. He didn’t even need to check his panel; he already knew the experiment was a success.

Just as he’d expected, as Isaac injected a vial of a carefully prepared, crystalline red Magic Potion into the Dragon Lizard heart, the organ began to beat. With each pulse, the crystalline red Magic Power suffused the entire organ, and the aura of a Giant Dragon began to emanate from it.

But the experiment wasn’t over yet. He had only succeeded in transforming an ordinary Dragon Lizard’s heart into that of a Tier One Dragon Blood Demon Lizard. Before it could be re-implanted, there was one more step: compressing its size.

This technique could be used to further compress Demonized Flesh Essence for convenient transport, but it was also applicable in various biological experiments. After all, giant Demons were not rare in the Magic Realm; many had internal organs that were three stories tall on their own!

A Wizard couldn’t exactly crawl inside to conduct an experiment, which was why this kind of size-reduction Magic was necessary.

However, Flesh Condensation was not a transmutation-type Magic. Therefore, he had to be exceptionally careful while compressing the heart. He had to reduce the heart’s volume while perfectly preserving its structure, avoiding crushing it into a meaty pulp.

Isaac performed this step with extreme caution, not even daring to spare a glance at the success rate displayed by his Golden Finger.

Fortunately, thanks to having processed nearly five thousand Gold Coins’ worth of Flesh Essence previously, his mastery of Flesh Condensation was decent enough. It took some time, but he ultimately succeeded in compressing the heart back to its original size.

As far as Isaac was concerned, reaching this stage meant the experiment was a success. The final step—putting the heart back—might have been difficult for others, but for him, it was a sure thing.
