If that was the case, Terry wasn’t expecting much from them... if they didn’t have the courage to face the monsters and help them, then they wouldn’t be of much help. There was also the possibility that they could be testing the strength of the group... either way, Terry didn’t like it. That being said, there were few things that he actually liked in the current world, so that came as no surprise.

A few trolls attacked the group, but since their numbers were small, they didn’t pose much of a problem; Terry thought that they acted as a tribe or clan or something, but maybe that wasn’t the case.

As for the guild masters, they were strong to deal with the trolls by themselves, but only one at a time since they had to attack their hearts and then their hearts and vice versa. During those precious seconds, they were completely exposed. In any case, just like Vanessa said, two Hunters in the area had been waiting for them. Once the trolls identified their targets, they would track them relentlessly, utilizing their formidable strength, agility, and natural camouflage to approach unnoticed. Their goal was to acquire the power for themselves, as they believed it would grant them greater dominance and ensure their survival in that unknown land for them.

That wasn’t a good sign since Terry’s armor was the strongest relic around... they also had to walk for a while with two children with them.

"I will do something about our mobility," Rebecca said, and then she made a large earth platform emerge from the ground. "Hop on."

While Rebecca’s armor was the old version, it was strong enough and charged with mana for her to be able to do that. Her trait also made her recover a lot of mana pretty fast.

Anyway, everyone jumped in, and then Rebecca began to move the earth platform. As everyone stepped onto the Earth platform controlled by Rebecca, they were taken aback by the incredible speed at which it moved. The platform glided swiftly across the ground, carrying them with impressive velocity. The sensation was exhilarating as they zipped through the terrain faster than they had ever imagined.

However, the swiftness of their movement came at a price. The rushing wind created by the platform’s speed cut through the air, causing a chilling effect. Despite the thrill of the high-speed travel, they couldn’t help but feel the coldness creeping in, causing shivers to run down their spines.

The wind whipped against their faces, making their cheeks and noses tingle with a biting sensation. They huddled closer together, seeking some respite from the frigid gusts. The rapid movement amplified the chilling feeling, intensifying the cold that enveloped them.

"They are giving twenty points of experience per kill... it is more than the fire drakes," Terry thought. "I guess they are more troublesome than then because of their crazy regenerative abilities."

First and foremost, their thick hides and tough skin were highly sought after. The trolls’ hides, known for their durability and resilience, could be tanned and transformed into sturdy leather for crafting armor, shields, and other protective gear. The toughness of the hide made it an excellent choice for reinforcing equipment against physical attacks.

Some trolls possessed large, sharp teeth that could be collected. These teeth could be fashioned into daggers, ornamental pieces, or even used in the creation of magical artifacts. The hardness and sharpness of the teeth made them valuable for various purposes.

Furthermore, trolls were known to possess regenerative abilities, and their blood was believed to contain potent healing properties. The blood could be extracted and processed to create healing potions or used in alchemical concoctions for restorative purposes. No one has pulled that off yet.

Some trolls got in the way, but Vanessa fried up their brains, and Terry used that chance to shoot Fire Swords at their hearts. Their combination was pretty good, but Vanessa wouldn’t need help if she had another weapon that enhanced her magic powers. A single lightning bolt would fry the veins of the beasts, and it was hard to imagine that they would be able to recover from that.

For a while, the group didn’t see anything in the distance, but then all of a sudden, the environment changed as if they had been teleported, and then they found themselves in the middle of a town. Rebecca wondered while looking around if she had missed something, but it seemed that they crossed some kind of barrier.

"We weren’t informed that your base was hidden through an illusory barrier," Vanessa said while looking at the messengers.

"... My apologies. Our guild master will explain everything," one of the guides said.

There wasn’t much to explain, they had a powerful and useful relic at the level of their magic hologram communication device, and they didn’t want to spread that kind of communication.

As one passed through the barrier, they would be greeted by a striking sight. The town’s interior was transformed into a mesmerizing sanctuary, shielded from the harsh weather conditions that plagued the surrounding area. The dome emitted a gentle, warm glow, casting a soft illumination across the town’s buildings and streets.
