Seizing this momentary advantage, Terry leaped into action, using the confusion to close the distance between them. He aimed a powerful swing at the Overlord’s head, intending to deliver a crushing blow that would incapacitate the formidable foe. Yet, to his surprise, the Overlord reacted with astonishing speed and strength.

With its enormous elbow, the overlord troll deflected Terry’s attack, the sheer force of the block sending tremors through the ground. Terry’s eyes widened in awe and trepidation. The Overlord’s reflexes were beyond extraordinary, proving that this enemy was no mere brute relying on size and power alone.

"Is that the best you can do?" The troll overlord asked and then pushed Terry away.

The Fire Sword left a burn mark on the face of the monster, but it vanished after five seconds. That kind of ability was crazy... and he thought that his own was insane.

With each thunderous charge, the overlord troll hurled its massive fists at Terry, attempting to crush him under the weight of its relentless fury. "Ugh, can’t be helped..." Terry thought while raising his weapon. "I can only take another hit like this, so I will make it count."

"Shit, the attack wasn’t powerful enough..." Terry thought. "This guy is too strong... my ribcage is hurting with every single breath I take; the next time I get hit, the damage will be too much for me to be able to fight at full power... I need to bet even harder on the next counterattack."

The troll overlord took a step back, its eyes never leaving Terry’s form. Normally, its pride would have hindered any retreat or apparent vulnerability, but this time, it wasn’t taking any chances. It knew that underestimating Terry again could be a fatal mistake.
