Terry wondered if the armor would return to level one... that was a bit troublesome. Still, it was something he was willing to accept as long as the rarity rank of the armor increased. Still, it seemed that it would take a while for that to be completed since the blacksmiths were also making copies of the incomplete armor. Even though they had twenty more people to help them.

"I guess I will hunt some mechanic warriors since I am bored out of my mind," Terry thought. "I never leveled up an ax, so perhaps I should use it and see what kind of effects it will have after a while."

Just when Terry was about to leave, he noticed Vanessa showing up. That was the first time they had met since the mission, and while she had been busy, she looked more alive now. Before, she looked as deadpan as they came.

"You look bored; sorry for that, but we need to talk about something serious that probably will make you even more bored," Vanessa said.

"What is it?"

Vanessa approached Terry with an idea that she believed could bring significant benefits to their guild and the entire country. She suggested selling the magic stone obtained from the fire dragon to the hunter’s association to create a powerful magic device. This device, she explained, would serve as a means to connect all the guild masters across the nation, forming a council of guild masters.

Terry listened attentively, understanding the potential advantages of such a council. He recognized that by pooling their expertise and resources, guild masters could collectively address issues that affected the entire country. However, he had reservations about parting with the magic stone.

"I guess this isn’t a bad idea, but if you come at me like that and out of nowhere, it makes things difficult since I was also planning to use the magic stone to do something else," Terry said after he crossed his arms. "Wait a minute..."

Terry realized that Louis was the mastermind behind the idea for the guild masters’ council. He got annoyed because he disliked that kind of sneaky plan, and Louis was all about that. Terry decided to look for Louis at the government office but found out that he had already left the city and was traveling around.

"Although his actions and words seem suspicious, his goal this time will help the entire nation. You should know that" Vanessa said.

"Even if you say that things aren’t that simple, I can’t forgive someone who is trying to control me like that; it doesn’t matter what his intentions are," Terry explained. "It is a fact that he acting all high and mighty, thinking that he can do whatever he wants behind the scenes making others do his bidding."

Vanessa knew that Terry had a point, and she didn’t exactly like how things were either, but she was a lot more lenient than Terry. Since she had known Louis for a while and he didn’t do anything truly suspicious aside from trying to make others dance on the palm of his hands.t

Regardless, Terry began to think about the deal and confirmed the pros and cons. Terry carefully considered the pros and cons of Vanessa’s offer regarding the creation of a magic device to connect all the guild masters.

"All right, I am sure that no one will be agaisnt that; everyone is trying to get on your good side, after all," Vanessa shrugged. "Besides, you will have to be responsible for the safety of the device, and few people right now would try to cause problems for you."

"You are getting smart. I like it," Terry smiled.
