Only My Weapons Level UP

Terry checked in his memory if he had ever met someone who looked so annoying just by being nearby... he couldn't recall any. That aura of a self-important businessman was truly annoying beyond reason.

He just paid attention to things... first of all, guilds could sell or not all the materials and magic stones that they could get inside a dungeon. The rate was higher than Terry obtained by dealing with the other guilds, so he couldn't ask for more, and he would need to make a good amount of money since the guild was like a middleman between the hunters and the government.

Aside from that, the guilds had to work with each other to protect the country if necessary, so they couldn't fight in any situation. If a fight breaks out and people die, both sides will be punished. The government must have some powerful guys on their side if they think that they can stop superhuman fights.

Another thing that they had to be mindful of was that they needed to share information with the government that was related to the safety of the country. If something happens inside their dungeons, then they need to report things like monsters' armies and whatnot.

"Those are the most important points," Louis said.

"I see. Then I will be waiting for someone to take the magic stones every day near the dungeon," Terry said and then got up.

"Have you thought about what you are going to do regarding the security around the dungeon?" Louis asked.

"I will come up with something," Terry said and then left the room.

Terry didn't even have enough members to make a full party, so there weren't many options for that kind of thing. Rebecca could be trusted, so she could check things with the magic stones, but she also wanted to get stronger... they will have to look for someone trustworthy in a city that they just arrived in...

When Terry arrived at home, he saw Rebecca and her siblings happily eating a cake. Her way of celebrating things was on the level of an elementary school kid.

"Cake?" Rebecca asked.

"I am fine," Terry said. "We will have to split some jobs until we have some more members, but are you seriously thinking of keeping fighting monsters?"

"... I think that it would be more convenient for me if I were to do a job where I am close to them, but I can't just hide forever," Rebecca replied. "While I am not at your level, I also want to do my part and make sure that the world is safe."

"You can earn more by doing office work," Terry said.

Since Terry used the Restoration Wand to heal himself, he was feeling a lot better. However, the mental and physical exhaustion was bothering him more than a little. Once he relaxed and dropped onto the bed, he slept until the next day. That was the result of achieving his first big goal.

"Are you sure of that? I am certain that people are going to join even if you demand more of them," Rebecca asked. "Remember, our goal is to get loyal and trustworthy members. Being nice to them will do half of the job. Also, use your powers to tell if someone strong is trying to enter the guild. You can tell that, right?"

"Yes, I can... somewhat," Rebecca said. "I am not certain since your strength is always changing. I am not sure if others can do that."

"Well, just warn me if you find someone suspicious. That will be enough," Terry said. "I will meet with you later on the portal... no, I guess it won't work if I do that..."

Rebecca had no idea what was troubling Terry. He wanted to level up the weapons for the new members, so he couldn't show up buying them across the city. He will have to make them the hard way like before, and people will frown when they see ordinary wooden spears...
