The overlord attempted to create distance between itself and Terry, using its newfound mobility to weave through the air. Yet, even as it soared higher, it found itself unable to escape the relentless pursuit of the man below. Terry’s strength had grown exponentially, and his speed matched his newfound power.

Their airborne duel unfolded with breathtaking intensity. Terry’s kicks reverberated through the atmosphere like explosive thunder, each one causing a sonic boom that resonated in the air around them. The overlord watched in awe and perhaps frustration as Terry closed the gap between them with astonishing speed.

Despite the ferocity of their battle, a haunting reminder of their struggle remained evident. The blood that had coated Terry’s form didn’t dissipate in the wind as the overlord might have anticipated. Instead, it clung to him like a badge of defiance, a testament to his resilience and determination to overcome.

"How is that possible?" The overlord wondered.

The overlord found itself struggling when faced with challenges that it couldn’t easily comprehend. This lack of understanding led the creature to hesitate and avoid direct confrontation. Despite its inherent strength, the overlord’s confidence seemed to waver due to its inability to fully grasp the extent of Terry’s abilities and tactics.

"This isn’t the same as flying, but I suppose it is better than nothing," Terry thought. "Still, I would be able to use their blood better if I knew their traits..."

Weeks prior, Terry had uncovered the secret behind the traits and their connection to blood. He conducted a series of tests, discovering that his unique blood had the capacity to blend with the blood of others, enhancing their traits temporarily.

This revelation was instrumental in his current strategy. Covered in a mixture of his own blood and that of the guild masters he had encountered before departing that world, Terry had harnessed this power to augment his own abilities in the current battle.

"I was planning to use this in other ways, but I didn’t have any other choice," Terry thought. "I need to make good use of the cards that I received, I also can only blame my own lack of preparation for this, nothing else."

Terry continued to bleed from various wounds, the mixture of his blood and that of the guild masters sustaining his augmented abilities for the time being. However, he was aware that this temporary advantage wouldn’t last indefinitely, and the situation was bound to become more challenging as time went on.

As the battle raged on, the overlord attempted to counter Terry’s advances by conjuring giant ice spears and hurling them his way. With a swift swing of his sword, Terry expertly obliterated the projectiles. In a surprising turn, his armor absorbed some of the energy from the attack, a trait previously unknown to him. While Terry hadn’t been aware of this particular ability in any of the guild masters, it was likely one of their well-kept secrets, too potent to divulge until now.

"Kai was fast when doing the same type of movement... Mary was always attacking with fire magic, so maybe this was her trait," Terry thought. "I should have paid more attention to them."

With the unanticipated assistance from Kai’s trait, Terry found himself gradually closing the distance between himself and the overlord. However, the intense strain he was placing on his body, especially his leg, was becoming increasingly evident. His determination to reach the overlord was clear, yet his physical limitations were beginning to take a toll. Despite the pain radiating from his leg, Terry pushed forward, driven by his unwavering resolve to end this battle.

Even the overlord couldn’t change the gravity of the area around Terry was while he was Flying, so he began to fire some dark spheres at him.

"This sound... gravity magic?" Terry thought and then changed his direction.

Describe a weird sound caused by the gravity sphere that the enemy fired. Terry avoided a bunch of them, but he was losing time and getting more tired since he wasn’t approaching the enemy in a straight line.

Terry’s mind was racing with possibilities, and in a daring move, he conjured a massive Magic Blade and launched it towards the enemy. The attack pierced through the dark spheres that surrounded the overlord, yet its trajectory remained unhindered.

However, Terry’s calculated strategy became evident when the projectile gained weight with each obstacle it encountered, growing more formidable as it sliced through the air. Finally, with an impact that resonated through the battlefield, the enchanted blade struck the enemy’s back, leaving a mark that seemed to reverberate with both pain and surprise.

The overlord trembled in the air and lost some altitude thanks to the impact... the overlord’s tension and confusion could almost be seen from a distance.
