Rebecca’s eyes fixated on Terry with a gaze filled with contemplation and curiosity. As she observed his remarkable combat prowess and witnessed his ability to emulate and counter the monsters’ attacks flawlessly, a spark of realization ignited within her.

There was a thoughtful furrow to her brow, an intensity in her gaze that spoke of an active mind piecing together the puzzle before her. Her lips curled into a faint smile, hinting at the burgeoning excitement building within her.

With each graceful movement Terry made, Rebecca’s mind raced, connecting the dots and exploring the possibilities of what his unique trait could truly achieve. She knew there was more to his abilities than mere mimicry and replication.

"I guess no one will be able to tell if she knows what I can do or not just by this, so it is fine," Terry thought.

Terry crossed the portal and then began to cross the rocky desert. As Terry traversed the treacherous rocky desert, the scorching sun beat down upon him, casting long shadows across the barren landscape. Each step he took was a deliberate demonstration of his determination; he was unyielding despite the harsh conditions. The desert seemed endless, with towering rock formations jutting out of the arid ground, creating an otherworldly vista.

His boots kicked up clouds of dust, the gritty particles clinging to his clothes and filling the air with a hazy veil. The silence was palpable, broken only by the occasional gust of wind that whispered through the desolate expanse. As Terry pressed forward, his gaze remained fixed on the distant horizon.

After what felt like an eternity, Terry’s perseverance led him to a stunning sight—a hidden oasis nestled amidst the unforgiving desert. Lush greenery and shimmering water formed a stark contrast to the arid surroundings, offering respite and solace to the weary traveler.

Approaching the oasis cautiously, Terry sensed that something was amiss. The tranquility of the place seemed incongruous with the battle-hardened world he had come to know. As he moved closer, his senses heightened, ready to respond to any potential threat.

And there it was—a structure rising amidst the oasis, a hidden enemy base, lurking like a serpent in paradise. Terry’s eyes narrowed as he surveyed the surroundings, his mind calculating the potential dangers that lay within. The base, camouflaged amidst the natural beauty, stood as a sign of the cunning and resourcefulness of their adversaries.

Using his well-honed instincts, Terry prepared himself for the imminent confrontation. His hands tightened around his weapons, muscles tensing with anticipation. He knew that within those walls, a formidable enemy awaited, one that would test his mettle and push him to his limits.

"Their base is too far away from the portal... when the fuck are we going to understand how the portals work?" Terry asked while scratching the back of his head.

It was about that for that to happen... but it didn’t seem like Terry would learn anything by waiting for others. Still, it was hard to imagine that he could make as much progress by himself as the whole world hadn’t made until now.

At that point in time, Terry couldn’t help but wonder if some people knew the truth but weren’t planning on sharing it for one reason or the other. Putting that aside, Terry decided to watch the base for a while.

Terry’s eyes scanned the imposing base of the monsters, meticulously studying every detail. His gaze moved with purpose, tracing the fortifications, identifying the guard positions, and noting any vulnerabilities that might provide an advantage.

As he observed, his mind processed the information, piecing together the puzzle of the enemy base. He noted patterns in their movements, the rhythm of their patrols, and the moments of vulnerability when they let their guard down.

Through keen observation, Terry began to discern their weaknesses, identifying potential gaps in their defenses that could be exploited. He watched how the monsters relied heavily on their numbers and brute force, their confidence emanating from their sheer size and imposing presence. However, he also noticed moments of complacency and instances where their attention waned.

"I guess attacking them at night will be better here as well, but it should be pretty cold," Terry thought.

After learning that much, Terry decided to escape and then grind for another day. He also wondered if he should take his guild members with him, but Terry wasn’t sure, considering what happened the last time.

When Terry returned, he found a large group of people waiting for him. Vanessa, Louis, Rebecca... it seemed that something happened, but all that Terry could think was for how long Louis was planning to stay there.

"What is wrong?" Terry asked when he approached.

"... It seems that what happened here happened in other places as well," Vanessa replied after hesitating for a short while. "A portal disappeared in Houston when a group had just crossed it. The group was ambushed and annihilated. Soon after, a horde of monsters landed on Houston and took over the city."

It was not just an isolated incident but a phenomenon that reverberated across the globe. Unexpected and catastrophic Dungeon breaks occurred simultaneously in various regions, plunging the world into chaos and despair.

The dungeon breaks were like cracks in the very fabric of reality. This rupture disrupted the delicate balance between the worlds. As the portals collapsed, their disappearance marked the abrupt end of a once-open passage, trapping countless adventurers and creatures.

Guilds, once pillars of strength and unity, were caught unaware by the catastrophic turn of events. The sudden vanishing of the portals, their only means of escape, left them stranded within the depths of treacherous worlds. In the face of this unimaginable predicament, many guilds were decimated, their members forced to confront the relentless onslaught of monsters without rest.

That was a real nightmare for many people, one that was hard to find a solution or a method to deal with. Thanks to that, another worry was added to everyone’s list.
