The acidic substance splattered across Terry’s body, seeping through the cracks and crevices of his armor. Instantly, searing pain shot through his being as the corrosive liquid began to dissolve his protective layers. The once sturdy armor, forged with care and expertise, succumbed to the relentless assault, melting away in a sizzle of bubbling metal.

Terry gritted his teeth, his face contorting with the agony of the acid’s caustic touch. His muscles tensed, his body instinctively fighting back against the destructive force invading his flesh. A surge of adrenaline coursed through his veins, fueling his determination to withstand the assault.

Every fiber of Terry’s being cried out in protest as the acid ate away at his armor and threatened to breach his skin. The dragon smirked when Terry disappeared amidst the wave of acid that was falling; now the creature just had to devour him... Still, the beast underestimated him for the last time. When the beast approached to swallow him, Terry’s body emerged from the pool of acid and then kicked the air before entering the mouth of the beast once more.

Inside the beast’s cavernous mouth, Terry’s senses were assaulted by the putrid stench of decay and the oppressive heat emanating from the dragon’s fiery core. Ignoring the discomfort, he unleashed a torrent of strikes, his fists and limbs becoming a blur of motion.

Still, at that point in time, the monster had stopped moving as well... after not so long, both of them fell into the mountainous area... Terry was almost smashed by the body of the monster, but Vanessa used his wind magic to slow him down and change the location of his fall.

As the smoke cleared and the battle subsided, the group’s collective breath caught in their throats as they beheld the state of Terry’s body and armor. A gasp of disbelief escaped their lips, and their eyes widened in shock and concern.

The once formidable armor that had protected Terry was now marred by the scars of the fierce encounter. Acidic burns etched deep grooves into the once gleaming surface, revealing the underlying damage inflicted by the dragon’s relentless assault. However, soon they noticed that he was still alive and began to work to heal him. They swore in their hearts to never reveal to Terry that they assumed that he had died, they knew that he would never forgive them for that.
