The atmosphere around him grew thinner, causing his breath to come in shallow gasps. His heart pounded in his chest, a mix of exhilaration and trepidation coursing through his veins. The vastness of space stretched out before him, an awe-inspiring sight that humbled even the most courageous of souls.

"I guess it is time to abandon the ship," Terry thought and then used all ounce of his strength to kick the head of the dragon and then fall back to Earth.

With a jolt, Terry found himself hurtling through the air, detached from the dragon’s back and plummeting downward. The rush of wind roared in his ears, drowning out all other sounds as he descended at dizzying speeds. Time seemed to slow as his body arced through the air, the landscape spinning below him in a blur of colors and shapes.
