"How curious, huh," Terry said. "It seems that the policy of only defending our lands isn’t enough."
"... That may be so, but it couldn’t have been avoided," Louis said after hesitating for a short while.
"What are you guys hiding? I am not a veteran hunter, but anyone with half a brain would realize by now that the whole situation is weird," Terry said. "Monsters keep coming when they aren’t crossing the portals that we use, irregular dungeon breaks, monsters slowing down on their hunts... you guys should have learned a thing or two by now."
"I have no idea what you are talking about," Louis said, and he looked honest enough.
Still, Terry knew better; he trusted his instincts more than he trusted appearances. Vanessa was also silent, but it looked like she didn’t want to put Louis completely against the wall.
"... Anyway, we have some groups of hunters near the border, so we might not have to move," Cabessa said to change the flow of the conversation. "Still, there is a chance that we might have to move soon, and we need to be ready for it."
"That could be a problem, I am busy here, and I am not anyone’s cleaner to deal with their messes," Terry shrugged. "Besides, a dungeon too far away is involved; we can’t claim dungeons beyond our territories, right?"
"Actually, the Mexican hunter’s association is fine in lending the land to us if we deal with the situation and the dungeon, so it will be fine," Louis said and then turned to leave. "I just came to inform you of all of the possibilities, so don’t worry too much about it."

Terry didn’t have much of a chance to rest despite his intentions. His mind kept working on solutions for those issues.
