Only My Weapons Level UP

As the colder wind blew, Terry’s heightened senses picked up on the change in temperature. The victorious energy that had filled the air moments ago now gave way to a more solemn feeling. The adrenaline rush that had fueled their actions was gradually subsiding, leaving behind a sense of fatigue and weariness.

The temperature seemed to drop with each passing second, causing Terry to shiver involuntarily. The adrenaline-fueled warmth that had surrounded him during the battle was replaced by a cold and eerie stillness that seemed to permeate the air.

Terry’s eyes widened as he caught sight of dark, ominous lightning bolts crackling around the portal. The once stable gateway now seemed to pulsate with an eerie energy, and he could feel a foreboding sense of danger emanating from it.

His instincts kicked in, and a cold shiver ran down his spine. The sight of those dark lightning bolts was unmistakable, and it filled him with a sense of dread. He knew that it meant something powerful and malevolent was about to emerge from the other side.

"Get the hell out of there!" Terry shouted, making Vanessa and Rebecca fly away from the area above the portal.

Terry imagined that the overlord would come right now, he wasn’t expecting that such a thing would happen so soon, but it wasn’t out of his considerations.

As the dark lightning subsided, the portal’s glow intensified, heralding the arrival of the ominous entity from the other side. Terry’s heart skipped a beat as a giant red troll stepped through the portal. The creature was a behemoth, towering over everything in its path with its immense size and bulging muscles.

A red energy seemed to emanate from its entire body, giving it an aura of malevolence and power. The sight of the giant troll filled Terry with a mix of awe and trepidation. He had faced trolls before, but this one was unlike anything he had ever encountered.

The creature was clad in rough leather that barely covered its waist, emphasizing its massive form. Its red eyes glared with an intelligence that was unsettling for a troll, and its thick, gnarled arms wielded a weapon unlike anything Terry had seen before.

Terry couldn’t quite decipher its purpose or origins, but he knew better than to underestimate anything this creature wielded.

He could feel the raw power exuding from the creature, and he knew they were facing a formidable adversary.

As if in response to their leader’s call, the other trolls on the battlefield turned more aggressive and frenzied. Their eyes glowed with a ferocious intensity, and their movements became even more erratic and violent. It was as if the red troll’s roar had ignited a primal rage within them, pushing them to fight with a newfound ferocity.

"He doesn’t seem to be an Overlord, but he isn’t a small fry either...." Terry thought while raising his guard.

The other trolls stopped looking at Terry since their leader had chosen its target; they would only get in the way, after all. There was no point in joining that battle when they couldn’t even endure two of Terry’s attacks.

All of a sudden, As the giant red troll took a single step toward Terry, the very Earth beneath him trembled and cracked. The force of his movement was immense, and the ground seemed to buckle under the weight and power of his massive frame. A deep fissure snaked its way through the battlefield, splitting the ground and sending debris flying in all directions.

The red troll’s speed was nothing short of astonishing, even surpassing Terry’s own agility with the power of his armor. Before he could react, the massive creature swung its peculiar weapon with blinding speed, aiming a devastating blow at Terry’s chest.

The impact was brutal and unyielding. Terry felt the weapon connect with his armor, and the force behind the strike sent him hurtling through the air like a ragdoll. Helpless to control his trajectory, he spun in the air, crossing dozens of meters in what seemed like an eternity before finally colliding with the hard walls of the troll’s camp.

The impact was bone-jarring, and Terry’s body slammed against the stone with incredible force. Pain shot through his entire being as he groaned, struggling to regain his senses. The armor had saved him from more severe injuries, but he could still feel the bruising and strain from the powerful attack. Two more of those, or perhaps just one more and he would be done for.

"What the..." Terry muttered while feeling a bit dizzy.
