"It might not make sense considering the society that we once had, but it would make sense for an evolution standpoint for the strongest of the species to spread their seed and make the species stronger in the next generation."

Human biology wasn’t that simple, but it is a fact that those who have good genes tend to attract more females in all realms, the human realm and the animal realm as well.

Females are naturally inclined to seek partners who possess traits that indicate good genetic quality and strong physical condition. Alpha males, often characterized by their dominant behavior, social status, or physical prowess, are perceived as having favorable genetic traits that can be passed on to their offspring. By choosing alpha males, females increase the chances of producing healthy and fit offspring, ensuring the survival and success of their genes in future generations.

Alpha males typically have access to valuable resources, such as food, territory, or shelter, which are important for the survival and well-being of the female and her offspring. By selecting an alpha male as a mate, females can secure better access to these resources, increasing the chances of survival and reproductive success.

When the group finally found the first few trolls, they were surprised to see Terry hitting their heads with Fire Swords, and then he threw the harpoons at their hearts. The weapons didn’t Pierce their hearts since their skin was that tough, but Terry had time to attack the butts of the harpoons with Fire Swords, and that made them pierce deeper.

"Uncommon, huh... this will be good," Terry thought.

The first group headed from the second what had happened, and they imagined that they wouldn’t have to help all that much. As long as two people have those armor, it would be fine. Still, after not so long, Terry passed the harpoons to them. Once it reached level five, it obtained the Sonic Throw effect, increasing its attack’s throw power.

"You can use this to help; as long as you hit their heads or hearts, I will do the rest," Terry declared.

The guild members exchanged puzzled glances, uncertain of Terry’s intentions and the practicality of such actions. Some members furrowed their brows, their faces etched with skepticism, while others tilted their heads in contemplation. They were accustomed to more traditional weaponry and battle strategies, and this unconventional approach seemed foreign to them.

At first, they didn’t realize any difference. Still, eventually, they noticed themselves being filled with power when they recovered their harpoons. Although Terry wasn’t using the harpoons, attacking them with the Fire Swords and making them reach the hearts and brains of the monsters did the trick. Even the magic users were able to cause a lot of damage.

"The downside is the fact that my attacks are damaging the weapons, and soon they will break," Terry said.

"We have plenty of bones to use, don’t worry about that," George declared.

"... If you want to bring people to get the bodies and materials, then we will need a few things to save time," Terry said after he thought for a short while. "Use the materials that you promised us and make some staves to enhance magic power. "Won’t that make a commotion and lure too many monsters?" George asked. "We can make it do with the magic stones alone.

"I am planning to close the portal in less than five days, so you guys should increase your stock," Terry declared.

Another downside of that method of fighting was the fact that Terry’s armor wasn’t getting experience. Still, he will get enough to master it at the base of the enemy, so it was fine. Even though the attack power of his armor and the harpoons increased each other, only the final item that killed the target gained experience.

"Maybe I can use this knowledge in the future," Terry thought.

Regardless, after hunting a bit more than three hundred of the trolls, the group headed back to the town. While they didn’t get hurt or were tired, there were a bunch of things that they needed to do in order to make the hunt more efficient.

After a couple of hours and lunch, the group was ready to move again, but before that could happen. Vanessa approached to talk with Terry.

"I need to apologize to you; despite what I said yesterday, I imagined that my words would fall on deaf ears since you were too stubborn," Vanessa said.

"I am too stubborn for that; I am just doing what is necessary to make the mission end as soon as possible," Terry shrugged. "The number of enemies around is starting to decrease; that is why I decided to do that and use some bait to lure the monsters."

"I know that you won’t let them down, so it is fine," Vanessa said and showed a rare smile.

"Don’t get all sentimental on me," Terry said. "I meant what I said. Don’t get the wrong idea."

George appeared before the group, carrying a collection of remarkable magic staves. These staves were unlike any they had seen before, crafted with care and ingenuity.

The staves were made from the trunks of ancient trees, their wooden shafts sturdy and textured. At the top of each staff, a cluster of gleaming gems shimmered with captivating colors. The gems seemed to hold a reservoir of untapped magic, adding a touch of mystique to the weapons.
