"Why?" Evelyn asked innocently, turning around to meet his eyes. She undid her bun, letting her dark brown waves cascade down before slowly pulling them all to her left side.

"Wait," Evelyn gasped, feigning surprise. "Are you afraid of falling for me again?" When Zevian’s eyes narrowed, she continued, "Or worried someone else might like it as much as you do?"

Zevian didn’t find it funny at all that she was mocking him, throwing back his exact same lines. "Both!" he replied in the same tone she used earlier that morning. He didn’t care if she thought he was acting absurdly or that he had no right to get jealous since they were in a fake relationship. All he cared about was making sure no one else saw her in this dress, especially not that Italian mob prince!

Evelyn couldn’t hold back any longer and chuckled, finding his serious expression cute. "I am definitely wearing it then," she replied boldly, causing Zevian’s face to darken with anger.

Flipping her hair back, Evelyn turned around to leave and change into her regular clothes. But before she could enter the dressing room, Zevian’s large hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her back with such force that she collided with his chest.

Even Avery forced her to get all the massages, skincare, and beauty treatments done while she busily ran around the mansion making all the arrangements.

"Wow," Kiana, who had been accompanying Evelyn, gasped as the makeup artist finished giving her the final touch. Walking up to Evelyn, she grinned and exclaimed, "You look magical, Mommy!"
