After all, though mating processes were mostly the same, the physical and internal anatomy of various races were each unique and distinct.

And in reality, no one could go around thinking they’d have all knowledge on every race that exists. Not even the sacred races could boast this feat.

But surprisingly, a problem that was supposed to be the number one barrier for conflict barely existed.

The Treants’ eyes flashed as they stared at Seth and the others coldly.

They had never seen such a race before, but within barely a few minutes of meeting them, the Treants had summarized the key vital points that could be fatal to humans if struck.

If experienced enough, you’d be able to filter out your opponent’s abilities, their weaknesses, and heck, you could even calculate every action they would make before they did.

This vital art of discernment was the number one art of survival myriad lifeforms had to learn and adapt to in the Origin Realm.

Not only could it help you in battle, but enough knowledge of this art could also allow you to mislead your opponent by using a false posture or tinkering with your gait.

Unfortunately for Seth and the others, such a technique was still way out of their knowledge.

Seth’s heels dug across the earth, his body arced forward — all this in a desperate attempt to kill momentum.

Fortunately, he had the Asura body — a physique that amplified a certain trait of the human race.

A trait humans had long before the ignition of the racial lamp.

The trait of adaptation. When activated, the Asura body facilitated endless adaptation in battle.

And now he had to pray that it could adapt to this. His veins writhed, and his eyes gleamed.

He could feel the antibodies being pumped into his bloodstream in droves. The pain the venom wrought wasn’t as blinding.

The spasms of his muscles weren’t as rhythmic. Now it was a race of who could reach the heart first.

Wherever the venom coursed, he could feel the stinging burn of pain. And wherever the antibodies coursed, the revitalizing chill followed.

In the distance, the hostile Treant Gani frowned. How lethal was his poison?
