A cold rush of wind blew heavy, and the dense shade of sanguine fog only grew denser.

Beneath them, the soil bled crimson, the rippling shade spreading across the entire clearing and beyond.

In its wake, the withered trees rattled, bloody veins suddenly bulging as they undulated fiercely.

And in the blink of an eye, they all started to sprout leaves — leaves of crimson shade.

It was as if reality itself was taking on the very essence of blood.

A dense, pungent stench of blood rode with the wind, leaving a distasteful metallic aftertaste at each breath taken.

The sight was as frightening as it was chilling...

But regardless of it all, Seth stood steadily in the skies, spectating silently.

Though his will seeped into reality only in sparse amounts, Seth could still feel it.

His forehead creased, his brows furrowing, as he felt the familiar presence of earth slowly fade away.

They were clearly still on earth, but at the same time it was as if something more had been added.

His eyes flashed as he recalled the high priests’ words: The blood world would descend.

He could feel the fluctuations of space becoming stronger, the pressure of wind even more so.

Fortunately, Seth had visited the origin realm, so he clearly knew what it felt like to be in a world that could accommodate an Awakened...

An emerald crystal pulsed out of the void, levitating slightly above his shoulder.

He quickly posed his question to the oracle...

"What is happening?"

[Requesting permission to commence wide area deep scan...]

"Permission granted."

A subtle wave of green pulsed out of the crystal, rippling through the entirety of Killdeer Mountain range.

[Outstanding... a small pocket dimension is being forcefully integrated into the planet, as a way to combat the current weakness of the still-upgrading planet...]

Seth’s eyes narrowed. Just as he thought...

Slowly, bright flashes of red pulsed in space, slowly taking form. Seth focused — the Bloodborne race had finally decided to show their face.

Glimmers of red slowly congealed into humanoid frames in the air slightly beneath Seth.

And slowly the lights rippled. In the wake of these undulations, the lights faded, revealing numerous lifeforms beneath them.

Pale white skin, flowing crimson hair, towering superior frames bordering on an average of 2.1 meters.

Their faces so well sculpted they bordered on perfection. Their chests slowly rose and fell as they took in greedy breaths of the bloodied air.

Clothed in intricate, beautiful, seamless obsidian armor, suddenly their eyes snapped open.

Their sclera were pure crimson, and their pupils abysmally dark.

Blood-red lightning flashed, illuminating their figures even more, followed by a deafening sound of thunder.

"Ahhh... it feels so good to be back." A figure spearheading the Bloodborne spoke, combing a finger through his hair, eyes closed.

His lids opened back up, his pupils concentrating on the sight below, his lips twisted into a haunting smile.

"Ahhh, now you guys didn’t have to go so far as to prepare such a grand welcome." He chuckled, apparently pleased by the sea of corpses and the flow of blood.

An obese figure, smoke trailing behind, crawled forward. The Blood Father’s beady eyes gleamed with relief. "You divine majesties, please redeem us, we have been att—"

His words were cut short as a figure blitzed through the air, stamping his foot on the Blood Father’s head, rupturing it like a ripe watermelon.

"You should have continued running, you fat fuck!" Brandon’s coarse voice mocked.

The scene froze. The Blood Order members trembled, and the Bloodborne stared.

"Hmm?" Brandon whipped his head toward the sky, staring back at the Bloodborne. He cursed.

"What the fuck are you staring at, Dracula wannabe!"

The cult members stiffened. Was this guy crazy?

Did he just mock a godlike being?! What level of audacity was this?

The Bloodborne just stared, and the figure at the forefront surprisingly just smiled.

As though unconcerned about their follower’s death, the Bloodborne race members’ eyes narrowed. "Tell me, human, how did you know that name?"

Brandon blinked. "Huh? Dracula? Who doesn’t?"

The figure stroked his beardless chin. "Hmmm... interesting."

The figure blinked as he stared at Brandon, then spoke once more. "Bow, and I can still grant you mercy. I’m in quite a pleasant mood, you see..."

Brandon scoffed, his gaze turning disdainful. He didn’t even see it fitting to exchange any more words with the scumbag, and he just flipped the middle finger...

You see, the thing about language — even hand signs — was that it was integrated into will so much so you didn’t need to understand or know what it meant. The will behind it conveyed to all.

The figure’s features went cold... a terrifying aura brewing from his frame. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

’As I thought, they are Awakened!’ Brandon thought, his muscles inwardly clenching, readying for action.

But his eyes quickly caught sight of something. His lips curved into a sinister grin as his muscles loosened...

"Before you die, human, know that Kaiden ’el Dracul was the one who slayed you!" Eyes brimming with frigid cold, the Bloodborne race figure spoke.

His hands slowly raised as a flash of sanguine coated them.

But before he could take any more actions...

Boom!

The wind cracked as a figure appeared behind him so fast other race members’ pupils constricted.

No one sensed this figure approaching. No one could react to this speed, especially when it was so close.

Behind the Bloodborne, a shadow with eyes glowing with a cold amethyst glint, arms pulsating with spine-tingling power drawn far back.

Dense pulses of blue tidal force surged as the arm whipped down, cracking through the wind onto the Bloodborne before he could even properly react despite feeling the shadow cast over him.

Crackle! BOOOOOOM!

The sharp crack of skull fracturing rang out, followed by a devastating quake like a deafening strike of thunder, as the mighty Bloodborne was sent skidding across the horizon.

The air itself seemed to freeze in that instant, all eyes focusing on that figure.

All eyes trained on Seth...

Even the cult members below, reeling from shock, tumultuous waves brewing in their hearts as terror washed over their beings.

Why wouldn’t they react as such? Who wouldn’t?

Watching your god being slapped so brutally... the feeling was quite unique, to say the least.
