Seth had noticed a consistent phenomenon across all races he had met so far.

And it was their abilities. Aside from class skills and gene skills, these figures always seemed to have something the humans lacked.

And that was a racial skill. Yes, not a racial trait but a racial skill.

His battle with the Bloodborne made him understand this more intimately.

Take the Rongols he met in the origin realm. When he first encountered them, he assumed the ability they used to win a battle he witnessed stemmed from their racial trait.

And he was wrong. He made that deduction due to poor information, but now that he knew more, he was certain that wasn’t a racial trait.

Same with the Bloodborne — their innate ability to consume blood and use the blood energy in versatile ways, like boosting vitality so much that immortality wasn’t impossible.

That wasn’t a racial trait. He was very sure of this because as long as the humans remained as hegemons, no other race on Earth could light a racial lamp.

Meaning the Bloodborne hadn’t.

But somehow every single individual of the race could utilize this skill. It had to be a racial skill of some sort.

But if that was so, and all races had a racial skill, then what was humanity’s own?

As far as he was aware, since he awakened there was nothing he could do that the others could. The same went vice versa.

So he did his best to elaborate for his friends. He genuinely didn’t want them to take the path of the past.

Because it seemed the reason why he was the first human to reach Bronze was because humans rarely relied on their bodies.

Look at the Grand Weapon Maester and the Asura King already — one relied on weapons, one relied on crafting a form that wasn’t human.

No one had ever trusted that the human body could ever match up to the others.

Which was why their whole generation was stuck at Black, and he ascended to Bronze!

Only by subjecting the human cells to constant and extreme trauma and danger could their true nature be stimulated.
