The crimson-cloaked escorts reveled in the pleasure of inflicting pain on their captives, whipping them unnecessarily, probably in a bid to break their spirits earlier on.

Elaine’s delicate hands clenched tight, her eyes radiating dense killing intent at the raw savage sight.

The captives ranged from women, delicate toddlers, to teens, being mercilessly abused and tortured — all to the pleasure of these scums.

At this provoking sight, the five had to consciously rein in control of their wills, lest their unbridled rage fracture the still delicate reality.

The sight was inhumane. What was worse was the sinister cackles of laughter that burst from the cult members every so often.

And their hearts shook, staring at the encroaching danger in tense alert.

Glows of gene skills burned in preparation. Everyone stood their ground, some blitzed into the fort to go alert the higher-ups.

But no one noticed the burning cold stares from five figures above, watching their every move.

None of them suspected an attack from fellow humans. How could that be?

From the border to this region, they had stood with unquestioned might. They were definitely the strongest evolvers in this whole region.

Aside from them, everyone else... was prey.

And besides, they were in the border area of a corrupted zone, so a tidal attack from the corrupted made more sense.

But before they could make the choice to run, the Frozen arm of Cold Death was upon them.

And using the brutal battle that followed as cover, all five mingled through the crowd, seeping into the fort.

Eyes shone cold in the darkness of the cave pathways, killing intents burning unbridled.

Tonight they would make the Blood Order’s wet dream come true. Blood would flow in rivers.
