Before they could even react or scramble to put on their clothes and shield their naked bodies, the police had knocked down the door and came barging in without a single warning.

The loud bang reverberated throughout the tiny room, echoing in their ears as their hearts leaped into their throats. Their cheeks were flushed red as they stared ahead with wide eyes, shock twinkling in the depth of their eyes. Almost immediately, Blake jumped out of bed to grab his clothes without a single care, leaving Stella to fend for herself as she covered herself and reached to grab her clothes, quickly putting them on.

"We have received a call for suspected illegal prostitution in this room, you are now under arrest," one of the officers announced loudly with a serious expression that masked his features.

It turned out that not too long ago, Aurelia had instructed Bryce to call the police to report them, claiming that there may be illegal prostitution activities going on in that very room Blake and Stella were in.

The both of them were dumbfounded as the words left the officer’s lips. There was a lump stuck in their throats as they struggled to find the words to say, staring ahead with a blank expression for what seemed like an eternity before chaos ensued.

Stella’s eyes widened a fraction as she turned to meet the officer’s gaze. "What’s going on?" She asked as a frown crept onto her face, resting between her brows. "There is no illegal prostitution, there is no such thing!" She shouted loudly this time, desperation evident on her face while Blake cowered behind her, hiding behind the curtains or anything he could use to hide his face.

She turned around to look at Blake as the frown on her face deepened. "Blake, say something! Won’t you?" She snapped in frustration, her tone carrying a sharp edge to it as she spoke.

She was only greeted with silence and she couldn’t stop the exasperated sigh that left her parted lips before she whipped her head back around to look at the officers. She arched her perfectly groomed brow at the man. "Do you not recognise me? I’m Stella Brooks for God’s sake! I’m a famous actress, you should know me!" She cried out loud as she pointed at herself, her eyes still somehow gleaming with a mixture of hope and desperation.

She watched as the man remained stoic, not a hint of recognition flashed past those icy green eyes.

"I don’t know you, ma’am," he finally said, shattering any ounce of hope left inside of her.

Within the next second, her face fell and she collapsed onto the bed and her shoulders were slumped over in defeat. "How could you..." she muttered under her breath, her voice trailing off as disbelief was written all over her face.

The officer walked over towards the couple, putting them in handcuffs despite their protests.

"Officer! You got it all wrong!" Blake yelled, his voice slicing through the tension that was thick in the air between them as he struggled to break free from the tight hold. "I don’t know this woman, we didn’t do anything!" He proclaimed absurdly, as if anyone would trust those words that were blatant lies.

A bitter chuckle emerged from Stella’s throat as she listened to his words, she shook her head lightly as the officer took them both away, dragging them out of the room they were once fucking in.

"Let me go! Let me go!" He demanded through gritted teeth, as rage pulsed through every single vein inside of his body. "I’m going to sue every single one of you for wrongful arrest and make sure you are the ones spending your lives rotting in prison!" He warned, his voice heavy with a threat.

The officer leaned in to murmur next to his ear. "We are just doing our job, sir."

First Person POV

How I wish I could see the look on their faces and the commotion when the police bust open the door that was going on upstairs in that motel room. But alas, I could only resort to standing outside of the motel, maybe in the lobby, along with all the paparazzi that had rushed over after hearing about the news of Blake and Stella going into a motel together.

There was a huge crowd by now, murmurs and chatter filled the air as the atmosphere remained tense. Everyone was looking around, their eyes darting around the lobby in excitement and anticipation hung on their faces as they waited to snap the perfect picture to be splashed across the magazines and newspapers the very next day.

As if on cue, the sound of the ding of the elevator echoed in the lobby that was brimming with people. The doors opened and without wasting another second, everyone turned to fix their eyes on the figures walking out as they held their breaths.

The people started to crowd around in anticipation and their eyes were darting around, even the murmurs and whispers were starting to grow louder with each passing second. Meanwhile, Xavier, Bryce and I stood aside watching quietly by the entrance, satisfaction brimming inside my chest as a smirk tugged at the corners of my lips.

"It’s Blake and Stella!" One of them shouted and within the next second, all hell broke loose. Shouting and yelling filled the place in an instant as the camera flashes almost blinded them.

"Blake! Is it true that you are dating Stella?" One asked.

"Stella, how long have you been together with Blake? Is he the reason why you were casted as the female lead of the latest movie?"

Another asked loudly, questions were hurled one after another endlessly.

The couple kept their heads hung low, ashamed and refusing to look anyone in their eyes or answer a single question as the police guided them to navigate through the crowd.

As soon as they reached the entrance, Stella’s eyes flickered over, catching a glance of the three of us standing aside. I watched as her eyes widened in a split second, anger burning in the depths of her dark brown eyes as she glared at me.

A smirk morphed itself onto my lips as a wave of satisfaction washed over me when we locked eyes from a distance.

"It’s you!" She screeched her high-pitched voice piercing through the noises that lingered in the air like a whip. "You did this to us, didn’t you?!" The words that left her lips were dripping with accusation and her eyes were narrowed into thin slits.

"You did this? You called the police on us?" Blake chimed in too, his voice shaking with anger and a look of disbelief was plastered across his face.

The place fell silent but the air continued to crackle with unspoken tension.

Everyone snapped their heads around, looking around as they searched for the person they were talking about, which happened to be me. The curious eyes finally landed on me. A cold chuckle left my parted lips as I kept my gaze steady and my voice remained unwavering.

"Me? I didn’t do anything at all," I said as I maintained a calm demeanour, pressing my lips into a thin line. "Why are you blaming me for this? I’m your friend, Stella, why would I expose you and do this to you?" I asked this time, referencing the times we pretended to be friends at the movie studio. My brows were knitted together to form a frown as I looked at her.

A bitter laugh emerged from her throat. "My friend?" She repeated, tossing my words right back at me with an incredulous look etched onto my face. "You are not my friend and I am not your friend! You practically came here to shove this in my face!" She sneered with a disdainful scorn, spitting the words out like they were poison in her mouth.

"You are wrong, I came here because I heard the news and I was concerned." I put on an award winning pitiful look on my face as I placed my hand on my chest. "I came to see if you were okay. I helped to fund your movie and supported you throughout your career as an actress. I didn’t know this is what you thought of me..." I muttered under my breath as I lowered my gaze.

She let out a loud scoff and so did Blake.

"Stop pretending, Aurelia. You are not as innocent as you try to portray yourself to be."

"How could you say such a thing?" Xavier’s deep voice boomed loudly as he chimed in before I could say a word. "Did she not support you and funded the movie so that you could achieve your dreams of becoming a director?"

There was a pause as everyone watched the scene unravel before their eyes. Rage spread inside of him like a wildfire as he clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles were even starting to turn white before he spat the words out of his mouth.

"Did you forget that you cheated on her with Stella?"
