Gazing at the two lovely and pitiful girls, the six red-clothed youths felt a surge of intense pleasure. As if a pack of wolves had just found two little lambs, they rushed toward them.

"Get away!"

"Help!"

The two girls’ faces went pale with fright as they frantically dodged, screaming in despair.

"Go on, scream! No one will save you, even if you scream your lungs out!" The six youths sneered, completely ignoring Ye Wushuang, who stood just ten meters away.

Ye Wushuang just stood there, quietly watching the cliché, beastly scene unfold, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"You animals! If you lay a single finger on them, you’re dead."

The two youths who had been sent flying climbed back to their feet. The taller one, Yunn Dong, let out a furious roar. With eyes bloodshot with rage, he charged forward to once again shield the two girls.

The other youth in yellow, Ice Sea, also scrambled up and charged forward!

"Damn it, you’re in the way!" Seeing the two charge at them, the six red-clothed youths looked as if their fun had been spoiled. Their faces turned cold as they bellowed, "You have one second to fuck off! Don’t ruin our fun, or we’ll kill you!"

BOOM!

As the sound of their voices faded, a scorching aura erupted from the bodies of the six red-clothed youths. The surrounding temperature rose sharply, and the pressure made it hard to breathe.

HSSST!

Charging forward, Ice Sea’s pupils shrank. He stopped dead in his tracks, his gaze wavering as he glanced at the two girls.

Sensing this, Yunn Dong whipped his head around and glared at the wavering Ice Sea. "Ice Sea," he yelled, "are you going to be a damn coward?"

Hearing his shout, the two girls also turned, their gazes pleading with Ice Sea. They knew that if he ran away to save his own skin, Yunn Dong alone would be no threat at all.

At that point, they would be lambs to the slaughter, left to the mercy of the six men’s abuse and humiliation.

"Damn it, if you’re gonna run, then hurry up and run! Get in the way of my business, and I’ll flay you alive!" one of the red-clothed youths sneered when he saw the thought of escape in Ice Sea’s eyes.

Hearing this, all hesitation vanished from Ice Sea’s face. He gritted his teeth and said to the other three, "Wait here, I’ll go get reinforcements!" With that, he turned and fled.

"Ice Sea, you damn bastard!" Yunn Dong roared in fury, watching him run away.

"It’s over!" At that moment, all the color drained from the two girls’ faces. Their expressions were ones of utter despair. They never imagined that at the most critical moment, Ice Sea would choose to abandon them and run.

Ye Wushuang watched this unfold and shook his head at Ice Sea’s shamelessness. ’Getting reinforcements? Just an excuse to run away.’

"Hahaha!"

The six red-clothed youths were also amused by Ice Sea’s words and burst into mocking laughter.

"Ahem, excuse me. Could you stop for a moment?" Just then, Ye Wushuang covered his mouth and coughed twice, interrupting their laughter. Instantly, everyone turned their heads to look.

Hearing his voice, the two girls thought a powerful expert had arrived. As if grasping a lifeline, they joyfully turned to look at Ye Wushuang.

One of them, a red-clothed youth at the Qi Vortex Fourth Level, advanced on Ye Wushuang, a sinister-looking longsword in hand.

"Young man, this has nothing to do with you! Run, quickly!" Yunn Dong shouted, seeing that the six were ready to kill Ye Wushuang.

"Nope!" Ye Wushuang shook his head, looking as if he’d sworn an oath to see his business through. "My business isn’t done yet. I can’t leave."

"Hahaha, so the kid’s an idiot!" The six red-clothed youths burst into laughter as soon as Ye Wushuang finished speaking. In truth, they had noticed him earlier but had chosen to ignore him. He was simply too weak to pose any threat.

As if wanting to toy with Ye Wushuang, they smiled playfully and said, "Hey brat, what’s your business? Don’t tell me you wanted to watch your daddies put on a live show?"

"Nope!" Ye Wushuang scratched his ear and said nonchalantly, "I just want to know who the hell did the killing just now. The blood splashed onto the cuff of my pants. Lick it clean for me, immediately. Once it’s clean, I’ll be on my way."

The smiles on the faces of the six red-clothed youths froze instantly, and their expressions turned grim.

"You have the fucking guts to say that again?!" The youths flew into a rage, their killing intent flaring. They were the ones who had just killed that person. For Ye Wushuang to demand they lick his pants—was that even fucking possible?

"Damn it, what’s there to say? The idiot wants to play the hero saving the beauty. Fine, let’s grant him his wish!"

How could the red-clothed youth at the Qi Vortex Fourth Level not realize Ye Wushuang was deliberately picking a fight? The icy words drifted through the air. Ye Wushuang stepped forward, his speed like a flash of lightning. The Ancient Sword in his hand struck out to claim a life, blooming like a phantom light—so fast it was impossible to track.

All they saw was a flash of Sword Light. A head had already flown into the air, rolling to a stop at the feet of the five other red-clothed youths. A column of blood geysered several meters into the air, releasing the faint, metallic scent of gore.

In an instant, the remaining youths’ eyes went wide. Feeling the grim, murderous aura and the smell of blood in the air, they couldn’t help but shudder.

For a moment, an eerie silence fell over the scene. Sensing that something was wrong, the two girls turned back around. Seeing the shocking reversal, they were so stunned they clapped their hands over their mouths.

"What happened?" they asked, turning to Yunn Dong in amazement, only to see he wasn’t faring much better. The ease with which Ye Wushuang’s single sword strike had erased a Qi Vortex Fourth Layer expert had sent a violent shock through his heart, and he was still reeling.

The five red-clothed youths stared at the head at their feet, their pupils contracting. They then looked up to fix their gazes on Ye Wushuang, their faces etched with utter disbelief.

"So, who’s going to do the licking?" Ye Wushuang asked, leveling his bloodstained Ancient Sword at the remaining five.

"You’ve got guts, kid, daring to kill a Disciple of the Flame Sect. State your name!" the five red-clothed youths said, staring warily at Ye Wushuang. They made no move to advance. After all, he had just killed a Qi Vortex Fourth Level expert in a single blow; it was clear just how terrifying his strength was.

My name?

Ye Wushuang looked at them with a speechless expression. "Are your brains full of shit? You can’t even figure this out? Since I’m the hero saving the damsels in distress, then naturally, my name is Hero!"
