The crowd was curious about what had happened to the two men.

Sun Jiang got to his feet and let out a breath, clearly shaken by his near-death experience. "Earlier, Guan Ping and I were searching for Yin Spirit Flowers," he began. "We happened to pass by the Undying Ghost Spring and noticed a strange light flickering from it."

"We were both immediately drawn to it, thinking it might be some incredible treasure. In the heat of the moment, without much thought, we decided to go take a closer look."

"However, I hadn’t taken more than a few steps before I felt something was wrong. Some of the Ghost Spirit Evil Qi actually broke through my True Essence Shield, drilled into my body, and began destroying my life force."

"When I realized what was happening, I called out for Guan Ping to stop. But he refused to give up and kept going. Sun Jiang recounted the tale slowly. The Guan Ping he mentioned was the blood-soaked man who had died earlier.

"A strange light?"

Ye Wushuang listened quietly, pondering for a moment before suddenly turning to Sun Jiang. "Will you take me to see it?"
