Glancing at the healing wounds on his body, Liu Yifei shook his head in disbelief. He had thought he could slaughter Ye Wushuang, but instead, he was slashed twice the moment they clashed.

"Pain!" Liu Yifei’s expression was savage. "Ye Wushuang, don’t get cocky. You’re strong, but do you really think I can’t kill you? In my eyes, you’re still nothing but trash."

As Liu Yifei spoke, the blood cloud enveloping him began to shrink and fade like mist, getting absorbed into his body.

At that moment, a humanoid monster appeared before everyone.

Its skin looked like a thin membrane encasing blood, making its entire body a grotesque, unsettling red. All of its hair had fallen out.

A gruesome gash marred his shoulder, where flesh writhed and spilled out, coated in a viscous, paste-like layer of blood. The sight was utterly nauseating.

Staring at the grotesque Liu Yifei, the two women at the side felt so nauseated they nearly threw up.

Ye Wushuang smirked and taunted, "You want to make me suffer? I’m afraid you’re the one in the most pain right now!"

"This is all your fault! I’ll make you suffer a fate far more painful than this."

His expression was a mask of pure savagery.

The blood-red sphere suddenly expanded, resembling a crimson star as it hurtled down toward Ye Wushuang. Its vast energy swept out in all directions, making the very space tremble.

Ye Wushuang’s brow furrowed; he too could feel the terrifying power contained within it.

World Destruction!

With a low shout, Ye Wushuang unleashed the first form of his World-Destroying Slash, meeting the attack head-on.

A crimson curtain of light shot upward before him and, under Liu Yifei’s incredulous gaze, tore the blood-red sphere asunder.

The terrifying energy within dissipated, spiraling out of control and surging into the firmament!

The chilling World-Destroying Saber Aura, however, continued to spread outward.

Liu Yifei was aghast. His body shot backward, dodging like a streak of crimson light.

BOOM!

Even as he dodged, his body moved with incredible agility. Muscles flexing, he charged at Ye Wushuang. His claw seemed to tear through space itself as it descended, wrapped in a devastating Power of Destruction.

Ye Wushuang clenched his free hand into a fist. Wreathed in golden light, his fist shot upward to meet the claw.

BOOM!

As fist and claw collided, the resulting shockwave sent both of them flying backward.

Slash!

Even as he was thrown back, Ye Wushuang swung his Dragon Blood Battle Saber through the air, and an arc of light from the blade struck Liu Yifei.

SQUELCH!

Blood sprayed through the air as another gash appeared on Liu Yifei’s body, leaving him both shocked and enraged. He began to roar uncontrollably.

"RAAAARGH!"

Liu Yifei froze in place, his eyes bloodshot, as the crimson light enveloping him blazed to a critical point.

"Ye Wushuang, just die! DIE!" Having failed to kill Ye Wushuang time and again, Liu Yifei knew he couldn’t drag this on any longer.

He raised his hands to the sky, his fingers a blur as they traced a series of profound hand seals in the air. One after another, blood-red imprints formed and vanished into the void.

"Heavenly Concealing Hand!"

With a thunderous roar, pillars of light erupted from the fleshy spines on his back, piercing the firmament.

BOOM!

The firmament roiled as storm clouds gathered and began to churn.

A blood-red curtain blotted out the sky, and within it, the phantoms of ghosts and gods flickered in and out of existence.

Abruptly, a colossal, blood-red hand tore through the crimson curtain. It descended from the firmament, stretching over a thousand feet wide.

It felt as though half the sky was collapsing as it descended, looming over not only Ye Wushuang but also Ye Rou, Qianling, and Qiu Mo.

The very space beneath the hand buckled under its immense pressure, shattering layer by layer like a mirror.

On the plains below, the ground itself began to sink, threatening to cave in.

Ye Rou and the other two turned deathly pale with terror. The massive, blood-red hand was like the hand of heaven itself; its aura locked them in place, making escape impossible.

"I bet you never expected this, Ye Wushuang! When I fell from that cliff, not only did I survive, but I actually obtained the Saint-Level Lower-Grade Combat Skill, the Heavenly Concealing Hand!"
