As a figure in white descended from the sky, countless gazes turned to watch.

They were all too familiar with this figure.

Meanwhile, Yangg Qing’er and the others saw Ye Wushuang arrive and joyfully ran toward him.

Chi Tian also snapped coldly.

The words grated on Ye Wushuang’s ears. He turned and glanced at Feng Jue, who was descending from the sky.

Ye Wushuang kicked Blood Ghost’s body, sending it flying.

Not toward the people from the Demon Abyss, of course, but toward the descending Feng Jue.

The others in the back didn’t move, merely watching.

But Ye Wushuang moved. He drew his Dragon Blood Battle Saber and hurled it through the air.

The motion was simple and brutal. The Dragon Blood Battle Saber seemed to transform into a resurrected, blood-colored True Dragon, its body whipping through the air as it crashed toward the four Disciples of the Demon Abyss.

The four clearly hadn’t expected Ye Wushuang to dare to attack them here and were caught completely off guard.

Instantly, the three Disciples at the True Essence Seventh Layer died on the spot. The one at the True Essence Eighth Layer was also caught by surprise; his body was sent flying by the blade, and he crashed to the ground, coughing up blood unceasingly.

Chi Tian landed, nearly stumbling.

However, a top Disciple was a top Disciple, after all. The moment his toes touched the ground, he absorbed the impact and used the momentum to launch himself back into the Demon Abyss’s formation.

"Demon Abyss! You dare touch my clan’s Lord Priest? I, Pann Wu, will annihilate you!"

A giant strode in from outside, covering hundreds of feet with each step, like a small mountain on the move.

Everyone recognized Pann Wu.

In just a few giant strides, Pann Wu was standing behind Ye Wushuang.

When the Disciples who had survived the earlier hunt saw Pann Wu appear, they immediately turned to Yang Dingtian and the other top Disciples. "Senior Brothers, Ye Wushuang has fallen to the demonic path! He’s being controlled by a Fierce Demon and is slaughtering the innocent! We must eliminate him!"

"That’s right! Ye Wushuang is bloodthirsty! He kills people to steal their treasures and slaughters us mercilessly! He’s no different from an animal! We must avenge the dead!"

Many others chimed in venomously. Ye Wushuang had killed Disciples from many different powers, so this was the perfect opportunity to use the collective might of the crowd to get him killed.

Huo Zheng of the Fiery Sun Sect saw his chance and shouted, "He’s bloodthirsty! This fiend has fallen to the demonic path, slaughtering the Disciples of our Sects. His sins are unforgivable! We cannot allow him to continue this rampage!"

Hearing this, the top Disciples understood exactly what the crowd was thinking.

However, they had more to consider. Ye Wushuang was a Disciple of the Ancient Spirit Sect. If they attacked him, the other members of the Ancient Spirit Sect would not stand idly by.

Yuh Yuzhen of the Feather Race’s eyes glinted. She turned to Mo Wentian and the other three top Disciples of the Ancient Spirit Sect. "Ye Wushuang is a Disciple of the Ancient Spirit Sect," she said. "He has slaughtered the Disciples of our Sects. We hope the Ancient Spirit Sect will give us an explanation."

"Indeed," Ao Wuchang of the Celestial Sword Sect added coolly. "Ye Wushuang has killed countless Disciples from various Major Influences. This is a clear provocation to all our Sects. If you don’t punish him, then we will simply have to repay you in kind!"

The meaning behind his words was crystal clear to everyone from the Ancient Spirit Sect: they were being told to punish Ye Wushuang, or these other powers would start attacking their Disciples.
