The Dragon Cat extended a paw, painstakingly grooming its disheveled fur. It struck a flamboyant pose before starting its bombastic introduction. "This cat is the supreme, omnipotent Heaven-Devouring Dragon Cat of the Beast Realm! I am Lord Cat, before whom even the Beast World Master would have to grovel and lick my boots!"

Hearing this, the corner of Ye Wushuang’s mouth twitched. He tuned out the creature’s narcissistic rambling and said, "I’ve freed you. It’s time you told me the secrets of the Dragon Tomb."

"Hehe, we can talk about that later. For now, you should get out of here before the spatial turbulence slices you to death," the Dragon Cat cried, its shifty eyes darting about. Ye Wushuang nearly flew into a rage. From its tone, it was obvious the creature had no intention of telling him.

But just as the Dragon Cat had said, Ye Wushuang was currently in a chaotic dimension, a result of the Chaos Dragon Tomb’s destruction. Inside, gusts of spatial turbulence shot about madly like countless Unparalleled Divine Sabers, terrifyingly powerful.

The protection around Ye Wushuang had vanished, leaving him completely defenseless. If he were struck, he would be utterly annihilated. So, he could only suppress the questions in his heart for now, quickly executing Floating Light and Shadow to dash toward the cave’s exit.

’Hehe, if Lord Cat didn’t keep a few secrets, how could I get by?’ Seeing Ye Wushuang leave, the Dragon Cat stood within the Chaos Space, its shifty eyes darting about, a sly light glinting within them. Who knew what it was thinking?

Immediately, it glanced at the Dragon Spirit Fruits and other Spirit Medicines nearby, its shifty eyes lighting up. It muttered, ’This kid actually doesn’t care for these Spirit Medicines. They’re just going to rot here. What a waste, an absolute waste! It’s unforgivable! Out of the kindness of my heart, Lord Cat will eat them. Later, I’ll have to make him thank me properly.’

With that, it unceremoniously grabbed a Dragon Spirit Fruit with one paw and stuffed it into its mouth, mumbling to itself as it ate, putting on an act as if it were doing Ye Wushuang a great favor.

And as it ate with abandon, its plump body began to undergo an earth-shattering transformation. If Ye Wushuang had been there, he would have discovered halos of light surging around the Dragon Cat, shimmering brilliantly as its aura grew increasingly strange.

Moving at the speed of Floating Light and Shadow, he was out of the Flood Dragon Cave Mansion in no time. His body landed beside the Cold Pool, but just then, the Dragon Cat’s lazy voice drifted from the Chaos Space into Ye Wushuang’s ear. "Hey, kid. There’s a guy hiding to your left. Looks like he wants to kill you."

’Someone’s here?’

Ye Wushuang’s brow furrowed. He cautiously extended his Divine Sense toward the bushes on his left and indeed detected a powerful aura lying in wait. His gaze darkened as a thought crossed his mind. ’Don’t tell me Murong Ye hasn’t given up and is waiting in ambush for me?’

’Wait, how can this fat cat detect movement outside while it’s inside the Chaos Space?’ In a flash, another question occurred to Ye Wushuang. He asked doubtfully, "Fat cat, you can perceive things outside?"

"Hehe, Lord Cat is omnipotent! Never mind sensing things outside, if Lord Cat wanted to leave the Chaos Space, it would be a piece of cake," the Dragon Cat said smugly.

"You can leave the Chaos Space?" Ye Wushuang’s expression turned grim, and a flicker of killing intent rose within him. If the Heaven-Devouring Dragon Cat left the Chaos Space and revealed that he possessed the Dragon Tomb, he would surely die a gruesome death.

The beam of energy slammed into the cliff face opposite the Cold Pool, blasting a massive, deep hole straight through it. The mountain trembled, and shattered rock exploded in all directions.

A tall figure strode out from the bushes. He wore a suit of brown Battle Armor and radiated a ferocious aura. A crimson light swirled within his wicked eyes, making him seem even more sinister and terrifying.

"So it’s you, Zuo Yi!" Ye Wushuang stood atop a large rock, his gaze fixed coldly on the figure. It wasn’t Murong Ye, but Zuo Yi, the one who had been the first to flee.

Zuo Yi also stared at Ye Wushuang and said coldly, "Hand over what you have, and I’ll let you live!"

"I have it. If you want it, come and take it yourself!" Ye Wushuang sneered. ’I’ve just broken through to the Qi Vortex Realm and don’t know what my Combat Power is like yet,’ he thought. ’Zuo Yi is the perfect person to test it on!’

Hearing this, Zuo Yi gave a wicked smile, his expression filled with disdain. "Merely a Qi Vortex First Layer. You think you can turn the tables and kill me?"

"And why can’t I?" Ye Wushuang retorted with a cold laugh, taking a step forward, his sharp aura flaring.

"Arrogant!" Killing intent erupted from Zuo Yi as a bloody aura burst forth from his body. He raised his hand high like a saber, holding it up to the sky. A ferocious, blood-red giant saber, a full seven or eight meters long and pulsing with a malevolent light, formed around his hand.

"Asura Slash! Die!"

Zuo Yi roared. The blood-red giant saber cleaved down through the air toward Ye Wushuang. Its extreme speed combined with the terrifying saber aura, splitting the very void and sending shockwaves rapidly dispersing to either side.

Seeing this, Ye Wushuang was not the least bit afraid. He strode forward, and his twenty-seven stellar vortexes erupted with a torrential surge of True Qi that flooded his entire body like a raging river.

Ye Wushuang’s heart trembled. Although he already knew that twenty-seven Qi Vortexes were terrifying, he had still underestimated the dreadful amount of True Qi they could produce. It felt like enough to shatter the heavens and sunder the earth!

’Time to test my Combat Power!’ Ye Wushuang was thrilled. His fingers formed a seal, and a terrifying golden Dragon Seal rose into the sky. It descended like an ancient dragon mountain, and its vast Dragon Power made the very void boil.

With a cold shout, the golden Dragon Seal collided violently with the blood-red giant saber. It exploded like a firecracker, creating a dazzling burst of brilliant sparks. A series of shockwaves spiraled outward, causing the void to tremble unceasingly.

Two icy shouts rang out as the two fighters crashed into each other. BANG! BANG! BANG! They moved like two points of light, and boundless energy radiated outward, destroying everything in the vicinity.

In just a few short moments, the two had clashed over a hundred times. The more Zuo Yi fought, the more shocked he became. "You’re just too weak!" The moment they separated, Ye Wushuang uttered coldly. He drew his Ancient Sword and moved in an instant, his movements both elegant and deadly.

Uttering that single word again, Ye Wushuang executed Floating Light and Shadow. A flicker of Sword Light flashed before Zuo Yi’s eyes, piercing through the storm of energy like a pinpoint of light aimed straight for him.

A chill ran through Zuo Yi’s heart. He pushed his Battle Armor to its limit, and rings of blood-red light surged out to protect him. He immediately followed up with the Asura Slash, his attack thick with killing intent.

But a sword strike empowered by twenty-seven Qi Vortexes was the ultimate in speed and power—unstoppable and all-destroying. With a PFFT, the brilliant Sword Aura flashed, and Zuo Yi’s head went flying, a fountain of blood erupting from his neck.

’A Qi Vortex Fifth Layer is no longer a threat to me!’

Ye Wushuang coldly sheathed his Ancient Sword, a powerful wave of confidence radiating from him. The twenty-seven Qi Vortexes had given him immense Reversal Battle Power. Against a Qi Vortex Fifth Layer opponent, killing them was as easy as slaughtering a dog!
