I started with a shopping app, hunting for those special items I needed. But the moment the vendor spotted my delivery address in the Voidferal Feral Territory, a message popped up instantly.

My fingers went still. I looked over at the compact aircraft Finnian had left me—untouched until now. Maybe it was time to test it out?

"Just give me a pickup location. I’ll come get it myself," I typed back.

I nodded eagerly at my screen. Hell yes, that sounded perfect.

I’d braced for a rough journey, but the ride was incredibly smooth.

I had even prepared myself for nausea, but I couldn’t feel any motion at all. Then the control system announced our arrival. I checked my watch and froze in disbelief.

I exited the ship, hit a button, and tucked it away. I’d done my homework—this was Glimmeraven Port, the biggest commercial planet in the galaxy.

The name itself screamed that this wasn’t your average location.

I looked around. This felt less like a planet and more like a colossal shopping center. The moment I walked in, I got handed a guide to Glimmeraven Port, displaying every zone, shop placement, and level.

I flipped through it and discovered they sold literally everything—from everyday clothing and meals to starships, slave auctions, fighting arenas, and bidding houses. It covered every necessity from cradle to grave, plus every type of entertainment.

They even had floating magnetic booths and dream chambers.

I felt like some small-town girl experiencing the big city for the first time—everything seemed foreign and fascinating.

Following the directions, I scanned to lease a hover board and climbed on. The entire platform rose up, making me go white with fear. Thank god it operated on fixed rails. Once it locked into place, stores stretched along both sides. I relaxed and tried to slow my pounding pulse.

I grabbed my phone, entered the shop’s location into the board’s system, and it glided smoothly up to the 97th level. When I got there, I stared at the storefront sign and fell into deep contemplation.
