Silas lifted an eyebrow before settling into the chair across from me like he owned the place. He tested the bathwater while speaking, his voice dropping low. "You can put on a dress today, baby."

I got it immediately. "You already know?"

"I do. And it’s taken care of."

Silas lifted my hand to his lips for a soft kiss, his voice turning gentle. "Anyone who tries to hurt you—I’ll erase them completely. Does that make me a monster?"
