Suddenly, the group member count dropped to 2. That bastard Finnian had been kicked out.

In a private room somewhere, I slammed my phone down hard, fury coursing through my veins.

I stepped from the shadows, casting a cold glance at the three broken figures sprawled across the floor—Thorne, Jasper, and Vance.

"You like cages, right?" My voice carried lethal calm. "Then tie them up tight and stuff them inside. Hang it over the main gate of the Valerion Empire capital for everyone to see. Make sure they don’t die."

Vance, barely clinging to life, jerked awake from the agony. The first thing he saw were his own limbs, twisted into sickening, unnatural angles.

I let out a cold laugh. "Wrong. I’m the one who won’t let you get away."

I strolled to a sofa and settled down, crossing my legs. I lifted my black leather shoe and tapped Vance’s chin.

"You took my wife’s money to spoil other women," I said, my voice like ice. "You humiliated her in public. You bothered her endlessly even after the divorce. And you even dared to put a bounty on her. That was you, right?"

My tone stayed gentle, almost amused. I didn’t sound angry at all, but everyone’s blood ran cold.

Vance swallowed hard. Recognition slowly dawned on his face as his eyes widened with realization.
