The Thunder Night Dragon led the attack, with Fierce Sword Firefly assisting from the side, engaging in a fierce battle with the Thorny Bone Snake.

Two against one, even though they held the absolute advantage, both the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly didn’t get too close, relying on their super-fast speed and agile movements to attack from a distance.

The Thorny Bone Snake was too large. Even though the combined strength of the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly was superior, they didn’t dare to get too close.

Given the size difference, a single hit from the Thorny Bone Snake’s tail could seriously injure the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly.

The ground rumbled as the fight moved closer to their own position. Char and Freyja immediately retreated backward, not giving the Thorny Bone Snake the slightest chance to take advantage.

After stopping, Char felt an even stronger urge to recruit a Magic Pet with a large body type and a tank role.

Only such a Magic Pet could withstand enemies the size of the Thorny Bone Snake and restrict their movement.

Scattered Undead had already caught up, charging fearlessly towards the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly in a bid to protect their leader.

But their numbers were too few; such a small amount of Undead couldn’t cause any obstruction to the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly.

Besides, Char and Freyja had also moved, blocking some of the Undead from getting any closer.

In this situation, the Thorny Bone Snake was left utterly alone.

In the sky above, the Thunder Night Dragon cast down the Thunder Light Grid, trapping the Thorny Bone Snake securely and stopping it from continuing its advance towards Char and Freyja.

Among all the skills of the Thunder Night Dragon, only this one could restrain a large target like the Thorny Bone Snake for a time.

Char kept an eye on the system map for the positions of several other powerful Undead while observing the situation on the battlefield.

Wherever the Morning Light touched, the Undead writhed in pain, thin wisps of Undead Energy seeping out of their bones and quickly dissipating.

Deprived of the Power of Death, the Undead immediately lost their strength and collapsed into piles of broken bones.

’It’s the Praying Light Sword!’

Char was surprised and happy.

In recent times, while clearing lesser monsters, he had also been keeping an eye out for the Praying Light Sword.

After all, it was a Level 6 Challenge Level ally and considering its restraining effect on the Undead, its true effectiveness could possibly exceed Fierce Sword Firefly and be on par with Thunder Night Dragon.

If he could get it on his side, his forces would receive a substantial boost.

Unfortunately, since its last appearance, the Praying Light Sword had disappeared as if it had vanished into thin air.

Char estimated that on normal days the Praying Light Sword must be hiding in other parts of the Land of Death. He didn’t dare explore these areas yet, for fear of drawing attention from the other minor bosses.

Unexpectedly, today, during the decisive battle with the Thorny Bone Snake, the Praying Light Sword made a pleasing reappearance.

’It seems the Praying Light Sword also realized that today is the Thorny Bone Snake’s end and has come to lend a helping hand,’ Char thought.

The addition of the Praying Light Sword completely tipped the balance of the fight.

More valiant and fearless than the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly, after unleashing "Dawn Light" to purify many of the Undead, including the Thorny Bone Snake, it immediately activated "Light Sword," transforming into a sword of Morning Light and fiercely struck at the Thorny Bone Snake.

It went into close combat with the Thorny Bone Snake!

Seeing it was now besieged by three formidable foes and had sustained significant injuries, the Thorny Bone Snake decided to make a desperate counterattack.

Its tail suddenly swelled immensely, coiling into a serpentine formation reaching towards the sky, twisting and dancing up and down.

Having seen the Thorny Bone Snake use this move before, both the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly began to back away as soon as they saw its tail start to swell, preparing their attacks.

The Praying Light Sword apparently had also clashed with the Thorny Bone Snake before; it moved even faster than the Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly, soaring into the sky to distance itself from the Thorny Bone Snake.
