Char did not respond to Betty’s question.

Observing the Little Flower Fairy sitting on the wooden bar at the head of the bed, swinging her legs up and down and looking around.

In addition to Wood Elves, Green Rose Village also had one tree man, five little flower fairies, and two Wind Elves.

Wind Elves were also a kind of little fairy. Their combat ability was much stronger than that of the little flower fairies, though not by much, barely similar to that of the Lantern Firefly.

But that comparison was for stronger beings. For Char at this stage, Green Rose Village was an overwhelming colossal entity. Just the two Wind Elves were enough trouble for him, let alone nearly a hundred elves and a tree man!

This was definitely not a force he could confront at the moment.

Fortunately, elves were by nature kind, loving freedom and peace, generally of the chaotic good alignment. And from the bits and pieces of Betty’s words, it seemed that the relationship between elves and humans in this world was tolerable, not a hostile one.

Elves being hostile to humans wasn’t an impossibility.

In some worldviews, because humans often captured elves to sell at high prices, treating them as slaves for human nobles, elves bore extreme hatred towards humans.

In some extreme worldviews, elves might even extend their hatred to Half-Elves, viewing them as “symbols of disgrace,” “dirty descendants.”
