Previously, Char had thought that if he followed the plan he had set in his heart to recruit Magic Pets, he wouldn’t know when he could collect a hundred strands of Praying Power.

Even after completing his first Upgrade Task and earning fifty strands of Praying Power for free, he was still short of fifty.

If he only saved without spending, it would be fine. Although the speed at which he was amassing Praying Power had slowed down because he had killed most of the common species nearby at least once, and compared to when he had first crossed over, the Praying Power he received for first kills had clearly decreased, but he was still able to collect some every day, and it would only take about half a month to save up fifty.

Auson nodded his head.

Char walked up to Auson and squatted down in front of him.

“Can you tell me about the past?”

Auson tilted his head and looked at Char for a few seconds, not quite understanding what Char meant. Betty rattled off a translation in her own way on the side, and only then did Auson finally grasp Char’s question, and he began to speak hesitantly.

Char frowned from time to time, guessing some parts, and often Betty had to help translate, making the whole process seem choppy and awkward.

Finally, after about fifteen minutes, Char managed to vaguely understand the gist of the story and couldn’t help but exhale deeply.

Communicating with Auson was indeed no easy task; simple exchanges were fine, but as soon as it involved complicated matters, it would become a guessing game mingled with guesswork.

There was no helping it; although little fairies are naturally endowed with several languages and a certain amount of knowledge and can communicate with people, Auson and Betty’s situations were not quite the same.

Betty had companions from the beginning and had spent years in Green Rose Village with a multitude of beings to communicate with, so her communication skills were strong, and she could understand Char’s meaning relatively easily.

But Auson couldn’t do that.

However, Auson had never seen the original owner of the Garden Secret Realm, and the first person he encountered after his birth was a powerful Flower Fairy.

In Auson’s description, this Flower Fairy, who had looked after him since his birth and played the role of his mother, was much stronger than Sister Fei Lin whom Betty often mentioned, not only possessing two Demon Beasts as her animal companions, but her own strength was also formidable.
