Fantasy Lord: I Have a Moving Castle

The death of the Thorny Bone Snake seemed to have cleared away much of the deathly aura that hung over this forest.

The forest, which always appeared dim, became much brighter, with the silver moonlight sprinkling through the trees. It was noticeably brighter than when the Thorny Bone Snake was still alive.

Under the moonlight, in the withering forest, little people were transporting the corpse of the Thorny Bone Snake.

The body of the Thorny Bone Snake was so massive that, even after it had been attacked by the Thunder Night Dragon, Fierce Sword Firefly, and Praying Light Sword and broken into several pieces, scattering bone fragments all around, the remaining large sections of its body were still too big for the castle guards.

But that was not a problem, as the castle guards had some attributes of ants. Although small in stature, barely larger than little fairies like Betty and Auson, they were very strong and could carry objects much larger than themselves.

They never tired, and once a command was given, they would work tirelessly day and night to complete it.

So, like ants transporting food, many castle guards started by carrying the scattered bone fragments to the Garden Secret Realm, trip after trip.

After moving the smaller bone fragments, they joined forces to carry the larger pieces.

As for the largest pieces of snake bone, there was no helping it. Even with the combined strength of all the castle guards, they couldn’t lift them. But even so, the guards were not discouraged and repeatedly attacked, making indentations bit by bit.

Tirelessly, they worked like water dripping through stone, "cutting" the large pieces of snake bone.

They were like the industrious worker ants!

From the Land of Death to the Garden Secret Realm, numerous white bones formed a long white trail, like a string of beads, which were the bones of the Undead being carried by the castle guards.

Outside the Garden Secret Realm, in the corner formed by the wall of Ghost Lamp Green Vines, a thick layer of white bones had accumulated, looking eerie and frightening.

After absorbing the essence of the Undead bone fragments, these bones would, in a very short time, turn to powder as if they had been weathered for a thousand years, and then scatter with the wind, returning dust to dust, dirt to dirt.

This was why Char had not seen any bones the first time he encountered the Ghost Lamp Green Vines.

But over this period, Char had transported so many Undead bone fragments that the weathering could not keep up with the accumulation, resulting in more and more piling up. If it weren’t for the frenzied growth of the Ghost Lamp Green Vines, which had grown nearly half as tall again, they might have been buried under the towering bones.

Now, in each skull-shaped flower, threads of ghost fire were condensing.

On the other side of the vine wall, Char watched the ghost fire forming inside the skull flowers with anticipation.

The flowers of the Ghost Lamp Green Vine would only bloom for three days, and during these three days, each day would produce a cluster of ghost fire.

After three days, the Ghost Lamp Green Vine would begin to produce seeds, moving on to the second generation.

The ghost fires condensed on the second and third days would help repair a part of the forest, further weakening the power of the Land of Death. More importantly, he would obtain a large number of Ghost Lamp Green Vine seeds.

When he would scatter these seeds across the Land of Death, the second batch of Ghost Lamp Green Vines would also grow quickly, the scale of which was sure to exceed the current part in the Garden Secret Realm.

Through generations of reproduction and the accumulation of small amounts, the Power of Death could eventually be completely eradicated, allowing the forest to recover.

He wouldn’t even need to worry about the Ghost Lamp Green Vines upsetting the ecological balance because, once bereft of Undead and the Power of Death to feed on, they would wither quickly, eventually leaving only a few lingering sparkles.

It would not come to be that the Land of Death was gone, but instead, a swath of Ghost Lamp Green Vines spread over tens of kilometers would appear.

"Praying Light Sword, you stay here for now. Wait until Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly have rested well tomorrow, then I can accompany you on another walk. What do you say?"

Char pulled his gaze away from the vine wall and turned to speak to the Praying Light Sword.

The Praying Light Sword nodded and then flew towards the carriage. The Star Worm followed it, extremely curious about the Praying Light Sword, and found the power emanating from it comforting. It instinctively wanted to get closer.

Halfway there, the Praying Light Sword deliberately stopped to wait for the Star Worm for a moment, finding comfort and affinity in the light it emitted, just as the Star Worm felt about the light emitted by the Praying Light Sword.

Soon, both the sword and the worm disappeared into the carriage.

The Lotus Leaf Frog retracted its curious gaze and submerged itself back into the pond.

The Thunder Night Dragon and Fierce Sword Firefly had gone to rest early. The Floral Blue Leopard stayed beside Freyja, and the Frost Crystal White Deer showed little interest in the Praying Light Sword, having been nibbling grass under the water fir trees since earlier.

The Night Helmeted Owl seemed not to like the power emanated by the Praying Light Sword. When it was in the garden, the owl perched high up, staying as far away from the Praying Light Sword as possible. Only after the sword flew into the carriage did it come down to a lower branch.

The Clover Mantis was sleeping with Betty and Auson.

Char wasn’t sleeping; he had something more important to do than sleep. He was going to attempt to complete his transformation.

He had nearly succeeded in casting his first spell as a Natural Prophet these past days. Once successful, it would mean he had transformed into a Natural Prophet with exceptional potential.

He wouldn’t have to start from scratch; he would start as a level 3 Natural Prophet.

His attributes had already been raised to the level of a level 3 adventurer, and his Magic Pool, through persistent and relentless meditation, had also expanded a lot.

Compared to a genuine level 3 Spellcaster, all he lacked were various magical techniques and theoretical knowledge.
