Fantasy Lord: I Have a Moving Castle

Last night, the Wind Winged Horse reached its limit and flew furiously for a long time before being ordered by Char to continue pulling the cart, albeit slowly. Despite them resembling more parts of a "Castle," Char still felt somewhat apologetic.

Then Char went to find Freyja.

"Freyja, you..."

He originally wanted to remind Freyja and ask if there was any way to disguise the traces of her being a Gale Ranger.

After all, the attacks of the Gale Ranger were too signature; if there were others around, once she launched an attack, others could recognize she was a Gale Ranger. And Gale Rangers were mostly members of the "Burning Ring;" there were very few "wild" ones.

For this, he left the Green Lotus Frog and the Praying Light Sword behind to ensure the "Castle’s" safety, while the Thunder Night Dragon and the Fierce Sword Firefly were let out to hunt.

He also looked to see if there was a more suitable, more desirable Demon Beast.

Although the Heavenly Frost Crystal White Deer had been working diligently, it would not be good to go back on his word just like that, but compared to this small moral flaw, it was definitely more important to recruit a stronger and more suitable Magic Pet.

Not just the Thunder Night Dragon and the Fierce Sword Firefly, but Freyja as well.

However, this was actually a normal rate of efficiency.

The only reason Char felt disappointed was because of the contrast between the ease of acquiring a lot of Praying Power by slaughtering creatures in the Land of Undead and the difficulty now, stemming from the adage, "It is easier to escalate luxury than to downgrade it."

However, even with reduced efficiency, this was still the work of several capable individuals.

So, on the second day, Char still managed to gather a hundred strands of Praying Power.

He didn’t plan to look again to see if he could catch a more favored Demon Beast.

After all, although the life-and-death crisis was avoided, the dark clouds of the Undead disaster still lingered overhead, who knew when they would descend again? Since he had already met the conditions, gaining one more combat power was an achievement.

Thus, next to the carriage, under the watchful eyes of Freyja, Betty, Auson, and everyone else, and with the Frost Crystal White Deer struggling to maintain its proud and calm demeanor while inevitably revealing a trace of excitement and nervousness, the Prayer Crystal exploded with light.

Then, the miracle reoccurred.

Amid the golden light that seemed to wander through the cosmic Milky Way, the Frost Crystal White Deer grew rapidly. As the light faded, a new Frost Crystal White Deer appeared before everyone.

It was unexpected that after being recruited as a Magic Pet, the Frost Crystal White Deer’s Challenge Level could surpass that of the Fierce Sword Firefly and Green Lotus Frog; he had thought that the Frost Crystal White Deer’s Challenge Level would also be Level 7.

But upon reflection, Char didn’t feel surprised.

Because the Frost Crystal White Deer was already a very rare Demon Beast, and in terms of talent, it was only slightly inferior to the Ghost Flying Lizard. If the Ghost Flying Lizard could evolve to Level 8 after its transformation, why couldn’t the Frost Crystal White Deer?

The Frost Deer hastily stepped back a few paces, but quicker than its reaction was the Fierce Sword Firefly, who swiftly waved a hand and sent a wisp of fire toward Betty, delicately dispelling the chill.

"Betty, are you all right?" Freyja also immediately expressed her concern.

Char was somewhat worried as well, given that the Frost Deer’s Level was so high, containing strong ice and snow powers within, even a light touch from Betty could potentially cause injury.

Fortunately, although the little fairy appeared delicate, once the frost melted, Betty was completely unharmed.
